Adding Mr Chips to the Ignore List was my greatest accomplishment in the past 2 days; he's the first wum that's really gotten under my skin, and the worst part is that he actually had an original approach at least...unfortunately one that irked me to no end.

Glad most everyone appreciated that article, or at least respected it. I always fear getting met with backlash on that particular topic, because I know I probably shouldn't be so rational about the whole situation.

Not particully original when he's done it 5-6 times before. The one comment that was actually good was the one about other attributes being important too, like "sped and agilty"

The only issue I have with this sell to buy idea is that all we do is sell and don't buy

 

In all fairness, more players have come in this summer than gone out, and unfortunately nobody wants to buy the players who actually NEED to be sold (e.g. Smith). And it's always easier to sell good players than buy equally good replacements. But agreed, I think we'd all be happy right now to take a page from Villa's lucky book and replace a player like Downing with one of Zog's calibre
