Something like that, UTD dont have a great record, but winning the CL final was worth all the losses <ok>

tbf the exact same applies to Chelsea at Old Traffold.

If memory serves me right the most convincing win from either side was the 3-0 with Berbatov and that genius corner by rooney and ronaldo which was unfairly not given but should have held as one of the most iconic goals in the league.

If can be the biggest word in the English language but IF Leicester don't hold onto top spot ( like most think they won't ) and IF you guys would have held your 1 -0 lead , you would have been 5 points from Man City and Arsenal with momentum with 14 to play . Man U middle midfield has fallen dramatically since the days of Scohles and Keane , the centre of the pitch is as important as the 4 centre squares of a chess board

A better performance at a ground we usually get nothing. We started both halves strongly but they slowly got into it. I think a neutral could argue a 1-1 is a fair result but to concede so late into the match is disappointing. The manner we couldn't hold the ball too and Depay giving away possession when he should just keep it or hoof it into the crowds was just pathetic. We also increase the pressure on ourselves by just defending after we scored. From having >50% possession before we had like 10%-15% after we scored!!

The reality now is that this result is a bad one for both teams.

We needed a win to close the gap with the others in top 4. Only city lost. And the gap increased.

The chavs really need wins to climb up the table. A draw is actually pathetic for them. 4 draws in the last 4 home matches. At this rate they will stay in the bottom half of the table and nearer to the relegation zone than to Europe. Deservedly so and it seems it wasn't all jose's fault after all.

The take home lesson from this match is that we can compete with any team if we have the right system and the right attitude and the players are not that bad. We need LVG to get the team to stop defending a 1-0 lead. That equaliser was coming if they had 85% possession.

van Gaal was well pissed off with that, his comments on composure and hoofing the ball aimlessly out of defence (for 15mins) hit the nail right on the head. Invite attacks, expect to concede.

Depay plays with no confidence at all. I know who I blame for that.

It's a shame that we invited the Chavs back into the game. They are a shadow of the team that won the league last season and their approach to the game was borderline embarrassing. Once we'd gone a goal up there was no need to sit back, just keep pressuring them but perhaps be a little more cautious around the box.

Instead we went into full on defensive mode with Rooney scurrying around endlessly by himself up top. If we had to go 9-0-1 then play Martial up there and let him keep the defenders busy! We got what we deserved when they scored.

I think if we'd carried on playing the same way as before the goal we'd have won 1-0 but LVG is our manager. Process etc!

Still, I'd rather be in our position than Chelsea's, they really are a rudderless, directionless shambles. Massive point for them as it's a step away from relegation. You could tell how much a draw meant to them at the final whistle!

It was more elation at the last gasp draw. I cannot believe that they can be so happy with a draw ..at home. Having said that they've fallen so much into the gutter that they have had only 2 wins out of 8 matches. This unbeaten run by Hiddink is over rated. These chavs are so thick that they don't realise that if they had lost 4 of these draws and won only 2 of them, they would have won MORE points.

I was taken aback at how defensive they were. To be fair, both sides are not at the top and it showed. for us to dominate large sections of the match at Stamford Bridge showed that they indeed deserve to be in the bottom half. I honestly cannot see where their next win will be coming from. With only draws coming up they will finish 13th. Maybe 12th if they are lucky.

We played like Dog ****, then you scored, then you decided to play like dog ****, then we scored.
    Awful game.
Draw probably fair on the face of it.
But had you kept pressuring us after your goal you could have won that easily, 2 or 3-0.
Why the **** is your manager such a pussy?
And why are our team so **** this season after smashing the league last season.......two of lifes mysteries.

Our midfield is the best it's been in 6 years tbh. We have a number of players who can all play with each other in about 5 different combinations.

But no point having a stradivarias if you have a chimp like Van Gaal playing it.

See that's what Van Gaal would say... just before he starts plucking it.

Sorry but I refuse to blame van Gaal for yesterday.
He seemed really pissed after the game about the way we sat back and hoofed the ball out of defence for Chelsea to start another wave of attacks.
I think because of the run of results we have had there the players panicked when we went 1 up and decided to hold what we had.
Van Gaal has ****ed the season up but yesterday was not his fault.

I didnt see the match but I'd be interested to know the subs and what instructions he gave them? Why did Carrick end up so deep? Where were Schneiderlin and Herrera playing on the pitch when they came on.

More importantly what instructions had LVG given to them if we took the lead. Clearly we went out there to score early on. You'd think there would have been some instruction to the team on what to do after taking the lead?

Maybe it didnt look like what LVG had imagined but the players themselves thought they were following his game plan?

It is now going to be difficult to get top 4. United should have beaten the chavs yesterday as they should against any of the bottom and mid table sides. To have any chance at all, United have to also beat all the sides above them. Leicester, Arsenal city, Spurs - difficult but not impossible <ok>
