That Superbowl was certain a more compelling watch than an enjoyable one, was an absolute superb defensive performance by the Broncos.
Kept it interesting for most of the game with all the mistakes both teams made! I think the occasion got to Newton & co! Peyton knew what to do!
The Broncos came up with a defensive masterclass, which if transferred to footie could be compared to the Italian catanaccio system. I dare say Steve Bruce would appreciate such an emphasis!
Aye, started following them because they were really crap in the early to mid 80s. That Englishman liking an underdog thing. Then we got good, culminating in losing the four Superbowl's on the trot, but it was good times. Now we're in the longest ever run, of any team, without a playoff appearance! Next season...
