    Von Miller definitely MVP.

    Newton has been appalling.

Broncos TD, they've done it. Well done to them, particularly Manning.

I think it's a crock of ****. Is it going to replace proper football (played with the feet) in the UK, or is it just a trendy fad with the young 'uns, like Budweiser (aka Butt Wiper)?

Must be why you spent all night on a thread on it.

    Or you're really that sad.

Probably the latter. Certainly the latter.

See other threads (yesterday and today, for example).
It's a real shame that Silly Quilly has chosen such a bad set of rôle models. I sincerely hope he'll grow out of it, but the signs are not good.
    Good night!

That Superbowl was certain a more compelling watch than an enjoyable one, was an absolute superb defensive performance by the Broncos.

Kept it interesting for most of the game with all the mistakes both teams made! I think the occasion got to Newton & co! Peyton knew what to do!

The Broncos came up with a defensive masterclass, which if transferred to footie could be compared to the Italian catanaccio system. I dare say Steve Bruce would appreciate such an emphasis!

Advertising spend during the Super Bowl is estimated to have hit $392m. <yikes>

Aye, started following them because they were really crap in the early to mid 80s. That Englishman liking an underdog thing.

Then we got good, culminating in losing the four Superbowl's on the trot, but it was good times.

Now we're in the longest ever run, of any team, without a playoff appearance!

    Next season...

I'm surprised at how low the world wide viewing figures were. The BBC were hyping it to **** this morning.

Just imagine the leap in viewers across Europe, Africa and (to a lesser extent) Asia if they played it two or three hours earlier one year.

Well done to the Denver Broncos. Very much deserved winners and showed how much the pundits actually know. <laugh>

Peyton Manning looks to have gone out in style. Well done to Von Miller on the MVP award. Nice trophy btw.

Only downside was the interval music. Coldplay were ok but Bruno Mars and Beyoncé were awful. imo.
However a nice touch with the video clips of previous turns. <ok>

Hardly surprising when it was $5m a pop. SSN reported. NFL say <cheers>
