Why should I give more to charity when my taxes help to pay for Manchester to be the Northern Capital of Crime and Benefits?
Make the Charity LiveLifeGiveLife. I have been to a meeting today to discuss raising funds. It helps raise awareness for organ don't ion and helps back research grants.
I'd day splitting depends how much we pay to enter. £5 a team would see a split similar to what you said so maybe... 1st - £80 2nd -£25 3rd/4th - £5 each (no playoff) First team out - £5
Indeed...depends on the uptake. If you get a buyer for every group team...great. if not, auction any team not drawn in group stages that go beyond to highest bidders to make up for it.
Does everyone pay upfront meaning the organiser holds the money? Or do we trust people to make their donation later? As I said before, I'm happy to organise it. I'd probably go with the trust option. Only other concern would be interest. Obviously, if we land lucky and only twelve are interested then I could just people two teams each (one payment so half the pot). Bit more difficult if we get between 13 & 23. Maybe I'll just have to use the rankings and ignore the lesser tans? Hopefully we can get 24 involved though.
Trust the way to go...it's charity. As much as we take the **** out of each other I can't see many wanting to welch on a charity....theyd never hear the end of it on here. Think you'd get most teams from this board and I actually think a lot of the guys that visit would join in too.
@Tobes @Jimmy Squarefoot Charity bet. Tobes says Moreno will be sold in the summer. Jimmy obviously says he won't be. How much TBC
I don't normally but at least if we lose i'll get some satisfaction that its done something worth while lol
