Not watching today but every time I have watched Henry, he's been awful.

Tbh I said on the match thread after we went ahead that I expected it to be 1-1. It's typical of this fixture so no surprise at all to me.

Actually think we went too much the other way mate.

The conversation about him being managed should have happened a year before. We were too cautious in telling him how it was in fear that his large ego would have him walk sooner.

Feck sake..we moved him round the team in a desparate attempt to give him a few more years when it was clear he didn't fit anymore...

But you are right...both needed honesty...and the right transfer..."you'll stay because you are an icon for the fans and in the dressing room but accept you are being phased out.

The other side of the argument is that neither player accepts that line of thought....

Edit; and finding that "right" transfer isnt that easy.

So let's all think about this.

Leicester are away and gone and would need to absolutely fall apart to be caught by anyone outside the top 4 now. They've 4 losses in their pocket plus GD.

So that leaves city, Arsenal and spurs for Utd to catch.

Realistically.. leaving any banter out of it... which side is worse than Utd and could let Utd haul in a 6-7 point lead and poorer GD?

Right now only city look bad enough for me. They've blown it with this announcement and I just feel just maybe they'll cough up the league cup if lfc don't freeze on the day. I could see them tail spin if they have enough set backs.

Spurs look solid at the back and alli, Kane and eriksen are just firing.

Arsenal have ozil and sanchez to rely on as well as cech and koscielny.

All in all Utd play city March 20th at city and that one looks to be must win for Utd and must not lose for city.

Yes I knew he started but when the guy said blackett I assumed he could actually see and didn't check.

I was letting him watch anyway cos I was more interested in myth busters on discovery.
