In other news Gary Neville loses again.

Averaging 0.5 pts per game and being bottom of the form table since he joined, this has been a massively successful venture into management for Neville.

Not that I really care but for the United obsessives that emptied their spuds over him drawing with Real..did I read this week that Benitez is tipped to take over? All sorts of Irony if true....

Exactly - Flamini does win the ball cleanly but more often than not, that type of challenge will cause serious damage.

Apparently so. Neville's only decent result is the one that will end up forcing him out of his job.

It's only either of those things if it endangers the opponent. If the ball is won cleanly and the opponent isn't touched and was not endangered, then it's merely a good challenge.

The Sky era norm is that merely by making that sort of challenge it's a red, which is horse **** interpretation of the actual rules. Taken to its ultimate is sliding in on the ball two footed with the opponent 3 foot away a red?

The wind resulting from that would injure Sturridge to be fair....

Really shows what a years on, settled back four does for a team. Chelsea just two years ago looked awesome at the back.

But....like us I don't think their midfield has any heart..they walk back.

Chelsea are stupid. They could have arguably the best defensive unit in the league if they actually played the right players. Ivanovic has lost his pace and is now targeted and Terry is old and useless.

Azpi is a class full back but even better at RB, Baba Rahman was one of the best LB's in the BuLi but is on the bench, play Zouma at RCB alongside a proper LCB, with Matic in front and Courtois behind. I'd kill for that kind of set up.

Neuer is still number 1 IMO - De Gea and Courtois are both quality as well.

Germany have an abundance of brilliant young keepers - would be surprised if we don't sign on this summer.

It's the old reluctance to abandon what worked...silly with Chelsea when they soend so much and get the younger replacements...could have integrated them much more easily than they have.

If we had one of De Gea, Lloris, Cech, Hart or Coirtois in goal we would have won yesterday and probably a few other games.
