Flamini with a two footed tackle. Off the ground and no control. a clearer red card you couldn't see. It's said that the big teams get the breaks ...with justification <ok>

With ten men the outcome could have been different.

If that's a red card the game is ****ed.

He won the ball, didn't touch Gosling with his studs and yet you get dickheads like Sourness (irony lol) saying it's an obvious red, because he's not in full control.

    What utter ****e.

Van Gaal says all momentum with Utd and a win today puts them top it seems.

It is the inconsistency. Some refs would definitely have given a red for that tackle. If it is outlawed and the rules say red, then there can't be dependence on the mood of the ref at the time.

Which rule says that's a red card exactly?

A ref who gives a red for that is usually being conned by some play acting tit on the opposition - see Payet yesterday for details.

A two footed tackle, off the ground and studs showing= a red. I am not saying it is always right but the rules are the rules and players need to know where they stand.

If Utd don't win by 2 or 3 I'll be shocked. They are talking big.

Rooney is on a run again.

    Martial is a worldie.

Lingard is the best kid since giggs.

Leicester must be quaking in their boots

Law 12. Reckless or excessive force

    was stopped.
    Careless, reckless, using excessive force
“Careless” means that the player has shown a lack of attention or
consideration when making a challenge or that he acted without precaution.
    • No further disciplinary sanction is needed if a foul is judged to be careless
“Reckless” means that the player has acted with complete disregard to the
danger to, or consequences for, his opponent.
    • A player who plays in a reckless manner must be cautioned
“Using excessive force” means that the player has far exceeded the necessary
use of force and is in danger of injuring his opponent.
    • A player who uses excessive force must be sent off

It's like the tackle from behind..in the rule book but apparently defenders can do it in the box as a last ditch tackle...
