I can't remember the last time we turned up to a game.Well, we come onto the pitch to make up the opposition ......

The Noveux brand of footie fans who treat the club like a trip to the opera don't help either, these people were not about during the days of Rioch and Hamilton etc, they started coming out of the woodwork during the Worthington years. We need fans who genuinely back the club not just make up the numbers.
Lol, I went to the Pirelli stadium once but for a Threshers wine merchants Xmas briefing.Well, I'm trying to look at the positives and I'm thinking I've never been to Burton Albion's ground before so that will be something different.
In what proportion?
For me the players are at least 75% responsible, for whatever reason. This is the only reason I am not on the "sack AN" bandwagon just yet.
Yes, but only some players, we can't blame the defenders, it's the midfielders fault don't you know. Oh and of course you can't blame Martin for anything. Shame Ruddy wasn't playing we could blame him then. Clearly another CB wouldn't help, what we really need is another midfielder
Totally agree with you here, but massive corporate sponsorship deals, prize money, etc mean corporate attitudes to match. The Noveux brand of footie fans who treat the club like a trip to the opera don't help either, these people were not about during the days of Rioch and Hamilton etc, they started coming out of the woodwork during the Worthington years. The prawn baguette is far more important than the match, daarling
and could you squeeze another cube of ice into my large g+t![]()
That's the trouThere's probably a lot of truth in that but is it the fans or the stadia? Since the compulsory all-seater stadiums were imposed, the atmosphere at Carrow Road was subdued, unless the team performed well (long before the NW regime). Prior to that, the Barclay was lively every game.
Shame, fella, big shame that, and exemplifies the neo-liberalism of footie these days. It's all about league tables (like the schools) and not about the the bit part spectators (or pupils)I get looked at as if I'm fluffin mental by the people who sit around me when I stand up and sing On the ball City! I even had one lady tell me I was too loud???????

What midfield? They all seem to hide in our defence, often see 8 across the back and we still conced goals.
To right I have a bunch of planks in front of me in the jarold who never sing never show emotionI get looked at as if I'm fluffin mental by the people who sit around me when I stand up and sing On the ball City! I even had one lady tell me I was too loud???????

What did AN have to say after the game?
His usual "we weren't good enough, we'll do all we can to put it right next game"?
But Pinto and Whittaker are not noticeably better.Russell Martin is about as much use as a handbrake in a canoe!
