Palace come for a point today and they executed it today their defence was spot on in the main. I will say though that we should have had a pen at least though

Cork solidifies our midfield. Goes into tackles aggressively and is very cool under pressure. He's a key part of midfield alongside Leon.

Which is why Montero should have been on with Barrow to stretch them. At the least, if Guido doesn't like Monty, keep Routs on with Barrow and take someone else off.

That was disappointing. Yet again we make a very average side that's been in free-fall look like world beaters. Sick of it to be honest. :(

IMO Cork and Britts have made our midfield solid, ki is a great player but is a little too soft and can be easily pushed off the ball sometimes. When the team is on the front foot and is dominating the game he's superb but not so much when we need a bit of grit.

We did more than enough to win that game if only we could finish, Im fed up of sitting back defending a one goal lead waiting for them to score and then huff and puff going forward with poor finishing. their keeper could have sat on a deck chair reading the evening post knowing we wont score.....

Word beaters is a bit OTT but understand your frustration. We need a plan B sometimes, we should really utilise our pace that's available on the bench. Problem is who do we take off Ayew and Siggy both have goals in them at all times and there's the problem. I miss our pacy wing style Rodgers and laudrup esque

I'm frustrated because we made Palace not look like a side that had lost 5 in a row but I take your point.

Problem is Mr scape goat, we always get to center of the pitch then play it sideways or backwards and attack when every opposition player is behind the ball. Barcelona we are not

We didn't win simply because we failed to take the chances created soon after we scored.

If we'd scored a second then, Palace would have to have attacked, giving us further opportunities as they would have left gaps........ ifs buts & maybes......

Anyway, that is 8 points from last 12. We need to beat Southampton next week - guess they will be without Wanayama after his red today

Which is a fantastic return in itself and I think it's showing how far we've come this past month that we are disappointed/frustrated, as we should have taken 12/12.

Despite my disappointments, it's good to finally see us dominating teams again. This is the Swansea were used to. It used to be the norm that we would dominate the majority of the match but fail to capitalise. If we won every game we dominated we would have been champions 3 years running.
Most of this season however we have seen a massive turn in events where we were being outplayed all game and paying for it too. Was a shock to the system for anyone who has been watching us over the last 8 years.
Now that we are getting back to our best (wouldn't say we are quite there yet), at least we know we will definitely pick up more points than we lose.

Some comments above (and at the ground) criticising Gomis, he had 5 minutes on the pitch. Baloschi had a quiet game for 85 minutes and left to a standing ovation.

Poor crossing all afternoon, with extremely poor service to our strikers..

Monty doesn't get a kick when we've got **** all on the left hand side of the pitch.

Yet again we concede just after half time (recently it's been the same at Man U, Sunderland and now Palace), it's a long term problem and nothing seems to be done about it.

Barrow should be on from the start, he's our top destroyer at the minute and is given too little game time. What are we afraid of FFS? We are too negative, hence we are getting draws instead of wins.

We haven't scored at in the second half at The Liberty since August 30th. That's a disgraceful stat and as a Club that's something to be ashamed of. It's killing us and if we're not careful could see us relegated.

Our passing game wasn't at it's best yesterday. Who was missing? Ki.

As far as I was concerned it was two points dropped yesterday, that was a game we could and should have won.

Are you really serious, cork was excellent today and didn't stop all game and as Swan says, he is always getting a foot in and makes us solid. He also keeps going till the end, it is a game of opinions and all around me were praising him. I actually though all in all think it wasn't a bad performance and apart from one bad piece of defending, would have been another 3 points today. My biggest worry is still our inability to score goals. Paloschi work hard and had a few good touches in the first half, but disappeared in the second, but not a bad home debut. It is all about delivery into the box and ours is piss poor. Barrow did superbly to get behind the back 4 and had so much room to move into but pulled a ball back to a Palace player. We have t work harder at getting bodies into the box, our goal came yet again from a set piece, get a few more goals from open play and we will stay up, we cant keep relying on set plays.

Although gutted at the dropped points, I still looked at our 2 home games of Palace and Saints and would have taken 4 points from those games, we just hhave to beat Southampton now.

I agree on Barrow. As much as I like Routledge he's not creating enough chances either for himself or others. Barrow gets less pitch time and creates much more. He MUST start, but probably won't.

Yes but Gomis has played with both wingers and has had enough games for us to judge him. Paloschi has had one and a half games with poor service.
