Agreed, Sam bottled it. Putting 10 men behind the ball and playing long ball from to a midget. I'd expect more tactical noues from a PE teacher. These were beatable. We showed them way too much respect.

obviously I meant Catts and mvilla had someone to pass to.

but yep, as long as kirchoff is fit enough, then him and mvilla in the middle for me. its nice having Catts to call on though. We have got a decent squad in the middle now

You're in a minority I reckon. After being 2-0 down with 15 to go, drawing 2-2 feels very much like a win.

Well done big Sam for making the change to get us the point?

Did Sturridge get on the pitch and if so, who replaced him when he got injured?

On the bench and stayed there.

Of course, it`s always possible he was injured falling off it.

Kirchhoff looks like a step up from Catts to me and we should run with it for now and see how him and M'Vila do together. As you say Catts is a cracking option to have on the bench but we certainly shouldn't be playing with three DMs and he's the one I'd drop, as much as I like him.

I watched the game and it was funny how the commentator was saying how good Liverpool were and their fans were walking out. I personally thought they were poor. How the hell Ibe gets a game I have no idea! He's ****e. We were absolutely terrible today but got a point from Liverpool at Liverpool! Wonder if the assistant took the team over to the kop to celebrate their draw?

Sounds blinkared to me. For 80 minutes we did bot all. I see it as two points lost not three points gained. Went about it wrong from the off. Don't know what you're congratulating Sam for, the players dragged him right out the **** there to flatter him

Just an opinion fella. Everyone slated Sam fir the tactics when he got it wrong. Getting a point from being 2-0 down when playing awful is pretty good going IMO! I dint see it as "three points gained" I see it as 1. I also see a little confidence boost from the result. Saying "we should have" is easy after the fact. If we'd gone for it and got hammered (a la Everton) then everyone would have a different opinion. I think we did right sitting and soaking it up. Didn't play well but were comfortable first half. When it went to 1-0 it all changed. 2-9 we had lost. Most on here had given up. That's why it feels like a win

I know, just like mine was an opinion when you spoke for everyone telling me I'm in a minority. <ok>

What changes were these out of interest? Aj on? I would have started him. Yedlin for Jones? Jones would have played his last game long before if it was up to me. He didn't change the shape. Just a couple of forced substitutions when we'd gone 2-0 for being completely ****ing spineless thanks to a stupid game plan to put 10 men behind the ball against a beatable team. But Sam didn't think we could win it, like he didn't think we could beat Bournemouth. Think it's an insult to the players crediting Sam with that comeback. But each to their own.

Not going to pretend everything is great when it's not.

    <applause> to the players.
