Cheers Humans, only singles and doubles and trebles as they are at each meeting. Thinking of it could have nearly done an Ardent there.
Interesting to see the plan for Carlingford Lough now. Back to Cheltenham before a tilt at the GN in April? He was ridden for a finish and boy did he produce one there.
Striking while the iron is hot a Lingers. MISS GLIER to finally get her head in front and SAINT HONORE in the last.
Can't see any of the Mullins horses worrying cue card in the gold cup, and I'll say it again in case you weren't listening.most of those fancy priced ante post festival tickets will end up in the bin. Apart from that great tipping on here again today .
An absolute brilliant round of jumping and pillar to post win for You Must Know Me in the hunters at Leopardstown who then sadly broke down right as he crossed the line. Such elation and sadness all rolled into one quick moment. Wish connections all the best.
Missed the Irish gold Cup so watched it on +1. I knew the result but couldn't have the winner prevailing at anytime up until the last. Somebody must got caned in running there. Pont Alexandre was disappointing. Can't have him at Cheltenham after that. Shifted right at every fence. Wouldn't be surprised if he stays at home and has Punchestown as his main target.
Absolute bloodbath today- favs turned over left right and centre. Ante post shaken to the core. It's all happening!
Brilliant stuff Mick - and all the rest who found winners, some proper upsets today or were they? I suspect ground conditions played a part in some and temperament in others, come the festival I'm sure we'll see some different performances, but it shakes up some markets and solidifies others.. .......
Funny how things can change in a week....Just the 4 winners today for Mullins, worrying times indeed Triumph market in particular looking very open. Interesting that the horse who won the contenders today (peace & co, another ruined by Hendo) was not only beaten by the King horse but was also beaten in France by Footpad...
With the amount of good horses he has (14 runners at Leopardstown today) it is no surprise he won 3 grade 1s today. Having said that, both Bellshill and Pont Alexandre were very disappointing. I'll be hoping he realises now that Black Hercules is his RSA horse. Gibralfaro going for the Adonis, let's see what he faces. Beefy what price will we get for Don Poli on the day? More than 6s?
