We don't have that time to give him.. I would have preferred to keep Pemberton, at least he is aware of the weakness we have had this year and I believe was beginning to address it.
Not what i expected from the SL comments, however if you better your dad we will all be happy. The owner has lost a lot of credibility with the fan base me thinks. This is going one way or another, interesting time ahead.
what a serial disappointment my club is to me. Wanna hear a joke ? Lansdown suggests the fans prepare for Premiership football in the not too distant future

Yet another key decision in the history of Bristol City screwed up and yet I wish Lee all the best in his new job. Lee is not, and never will be, the major problem when we all know it's Steve Lansdown who hasn't got a clue how to run a football club. Is it any wonder that we are consistently in some kind of mess when you have a person in charge who can't or won't make any decisions that make sense, except to himself. I have always respected you Lee for your strength of personality and tenacity for having to endure some pretty off road comments during your time as a player at Ashton gate and to see you return in the capacity as manager shocks me to say the least. At least I will eliminate one problem that would have bothered you and that is me criticising your every move from over here. My disgust at the running of Bristol City has finally taken it's toll, so it's goodbye from me and goodbye from Mike.
If you read what I wrote, I state I noticed another thread so I'm redeemed but you've blasted all these threads then to start one yourself??.?
What I like about it is that Pembo and Wade are staying in place. Now looking at Pembo he's done brilliant and changed things around which only proves to me is that SC didn't listen to him. Pembo obviously saw that the old way was not working and changed it around as soon as he had the opportunity. People can blast SL all they like but we've tried a top name manager and he turned out to be a massive mistake. I know some say it's because Coppell didn't like what he saw but frankly that's just trying to reason the fact he left. Before that SL gave Gary Johnson tremendous loyalty and that is what Little Lee would of seen and remembered.
I guess time will tell if this a good appointment or not. Right now it appears at face value to be a desperation appointment. LJ has shown nothing in his managerial career so far to suggest he deserves a crack at a team in the Championship. That said as for any City boss I wish him all the best, it is a massive task he is taking on, one that many more experienced managers would find tough, so I fear for him already TBH. I like LJ, always did, a far better player than many on here gave credit for, and he seems a nice guy, but I do worry if at his age he can handle a dressing room if things are tough? On the plus side BCFC is obviously close to his heart, it must be for him to come back knowing how he divided fans as a player, so he certainly has some balls, it would have been easy to duck this.
