Game off - waterlogged pitch

In case you dont go on the match thread to see the news....

todays game is off due to a waterlogged pitch.

Surprised about this as its been known for days that we were going to get a shed load of rain last night and throughout today too. So why didnt we cover the pitch?

I'm not surprised about this! I haven't seen this much water coming down for a long time... standing water and runoff making driving very hazardous... and an already saturated surface. And the weather I'm looking at is all heading towards Bristol!
