The chavs Trying to put on a brave face on it. Their supporters didn't want him sacked. And they all praying United don't sign him. Ten years too late? Ferguson was winning trophies and titles in his 70s. And mour is nowhere near that. The best manager ever in the premiership is suddenly not that good For me personally I can understand why United would go for him but he's never been my first choice. PS: no matter how Jose parks the bus he cannot be as dull as LVG mark1. Surely.
Chelsea dont have a first choice as they seem to be regurgitating the same old ones over and over again. Cant wait for Avram Grant's second tenure
Could the chavs try to recruit/reemploy Jose in the summer? Would this be too weird or farcical to consider ? I bet some chav fans here would consider it as they hold that man in such high esteem. They still believe (with justification ) that the season was sabotaged by some key players. Obviously Jose himself is not totally innocent but players and the tactics used have hardly changed. The appointment of Pep at City has put pressure on United and Chelsea to respond. I can understand the recruitment of a big name. It would be interesting to see which biggie the chavs will pull out of the hat.

He's a quality manager but I keep being told he's not good enough for United. I guess that means he's not good enough for Chelsea or any of the top teams. Maybe his time at City worked against him? Question is if you have Pep and Jose at 2 of your main rivals, do you gamble on Hughes to go up against them?
Maybe it's the fanboy in me but I just dont have much faith in any of the British managers and would plump for Joachim Low. I'm surprised he doesnt get enough of a mention and I think he'd be very good. Other than that, Simeone and De Boer.
