Well, it's possible, just possible that we might miss out on the downpour today, which would be nice - keeps the skill in the game:

However for any of you travelling to the match, safe journey in the rain.

I still have 3-1 in mind though 3-0 is tempting with Mad Frankie Fraser in goal.

Still resentful that, having taken a day off so I could travel down from London on monday, I now can't go. A Saints win will go some way to cheering me up. So would the news that Rupert Murdoch got hit by a falling statue when attempting to enter a church on his wedding day.

You get the distance when windy, but not the accuracy. Saints will try and keep the ball down on a blustery day.

Still tickets available up to an hour ago (according to OS). I suppose this is down to the match being moved and on the TV. Hope it's not many as we need the 12th man.

Without wanting to miss your key points here, which are fine, I'm a little worried about the ShLong monicker o_O
Sounds a lot like Schlong, which while it may be well earned isn't something I want to consider when watching Shanes penetrating runs today

You're not alone. Mrs S Had the day off on Monday and is working a 12hour shift today which she couldn't get any late cover for.
Not to mention I am meeting friends at Turtle Bay which she loves. She's not happy.

Shouldn't worry I think we're louder when we don't sell out. I think the peeps who get those last 1 or 2 thou seats can tend to be a little quieter as they aren't getting to many games.

(I'm not saying all of them mind as I know some don't have the money / time or opportunity to come all the time)

I started a chant in the Northam. To the tune of "He shot he missed, he must be [rather] pissed"

    "He's Shane,
    He's Long,
    He's got a massive schlong,
    Shane Long, Shane Long"

I sang it very much on my own with a sideways look of utter "Oh my God, Dad, you are so embarrassing" from Onionman Jr.

I can remember at BRovers away in the FA CUp, singnig about Bradley Wright-Phillips

    'Wright-Phillips, whoa-oh-ohhh
    Wright Phillips, whoa-oh-ohh,
    His name is really long,
    He's got a massive schlong,

    Wright-Phillips, whoa-oh-ohhh,
    Wright-Phillips, whoa-oh-ohhh,
His name doesn't fit on his shirt,
    His schlong would really hurt....'

Bristol Rovers won 1-0, a late free kick from someone called Rickie lambert.
