Rumours in the papers he is fed up of getting stick about his injuries and is considering leaving in the summer.

    Personally think its tabloid fodder.

If it isn't then I think he won't get another shot like the one he currently has.

  2. Moving won't stop him getting stick. Nor is it just Liverpool fans.

    True.

Personally I think its the media stirring up nonsense.

Far more likely we bin him than him binning us.

    He needs us.

The current articles imply that he is less than keen to play. Any niggles he prefers not to play. They quote Gerard who apparently said that" unless he (Gerrard ) was 100% injured he will play instead of some who only play if they are 100% fit"

Managers were reluctant to say anything for fear of legal action. And that the truth is not being made public.

He is not of any use to us whilst he is constantly injured so might as well get another striker.

    There's no smoke without fire.

If these stories were completely fabricated then where's the rebuttal?

The likes of Cross wouldn't go to print with this if he hadn't had it fed to him by Sturridge's camp imo.

If he is made available there'll be no shortage of takers despite his injury record, which would be a huge gamble by whoever took it.

Hes easily the best forward we have, but patience is thin, he really needs to play a run of games this season and score a fair few in that time for us to keep him imo, i like studge, really good player when fit but hes just never fit.

My opinion is that there has been a process thats been going on and one where sturrdige was told clearly not to be making his fitness or otherwise known on his social media outlets.

I think he's come to the end of that process now and is impatient. I think its clear he is sending a signal back to the club through this.

His "camp" have distanced themselves from the wants to leave stuff but the core message is he wants to be first pick right now I think he feels he's done all that was asked and is ready to go again.

the reality is if he can play 10 games in a row he'll be dumped by klopp (10 could be one a week in rotation)

    This is it really.

A different journalist has tried again on Sturridge, And got a spikier response.

What story? The Sturridge story? There is no story.

So many papers carried the story that clearly there was a briefing from someone, though. I suspect we haven’t heard the last of this.

thats from live echo LFC feed

my theory that its a clear message to the club that he'd better play or there'll be trouble seem fair now.

Klopp keen to distance himself from the “difference between pain and serious pain” comment.

It would be cool if we could leave it there and start from now on.

Fair to say that’s a straight bat from Jurgen Klopp on the Daniel Sturridge stories.

    Daniel Sturridge said?

Why should I think about that. Who has suggested that?

Daniel is back in training so everything is great. There is absolutely nothing else to say.

If the bastard could stay fit then we would play him and everyone would be happy.

    Balls in his court.

If today's reports are true he's taking the fecking michael flatley this lad saying he'll leave the club cos of fans getting on his back ... try playing a bit of football sometime lad, if the injuries are legit then make some sort of statement or comment and it will all go away, it's the silence that's the killer from club and player

Interesting angle that it could be a club source trying to put the ****ters up him

    Hmmmm

i doubt its the club but... well they've left klopp to answer testy questions then which i'd not put past a couple of them jokers.

  15. ATM, Benteke is the best forward we have because he's the only one able to go on the field of play!

A player could be Messi, Maradona and Ronaldo (fat Brazilian) rolled into one, if he's always injured then he's a worse option than Iago Aspas!

Sturridge is pictured driving a VW, looks like a Scirroco. A bit of a crap car for a Prem player on £150k a week, perhaps he gets it on a Motability scheme
