Day 36, film 36, another Australian one, But I'm hoping this one will be better, It's called "back track" with adrien brody And Sam neill in it, sounds quite good, But then again they all do till you watch Them.... We live in hope...
Kajaki is shockingly accurate in so many ways. I am not sure I am glad I watched it, but I have and now I'm going to have a good drink.
Yeah, I'm going to need to see that at some point soon. I noticed it has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is usually a pretty good sign of quality.
I need to watch it again soon anyway, hard to believe that film was out 8 years ago, don't know where the time goes. It's funny how films divide opinion especially on things like the endings, one of my favourite endings is Thelma and Louise actually which was mentioned on here not long ago (Brad Pitts break out role), no spoilers from me if people haven't seen it anyway
Another great underrated film, a lot of people forget that Ridley Scott made that. Brutal film. Nearly on the level of Schnidler's List. Brody is superb in it, won Best Actor for it too.
You're weird, some of your posts seem perfectly reasonable, others are unreasonably and irrationally argumentative and others, like this one, are simply bizarre.
So I guess you didn't get the reference to the 1993 movie The Piano, in which Holly Hunter gorremoff? Oh well. Guess I must be bizarre.
"Back track", not a bad film, yes it's Australian, but its quite good, well I enjoyed it.... The pianist was brodys best film by a country mile, loved it....
If you haven't, it might help if you watched The Piano, as it's not so bizarre a comment as it seems, just deliberately knowledgeable and vague.
Brilliant film, horrifying but completely compelling Incredible sense of claustrophobia in a wide open space
