Personally, in a game that we've got to win, it's a big ask to gamble with the formation.

Think I'd prefer to gamble in one of the so-called bonus games against the likes of Arsenal, Man City - games where we are not expected to get anything

Very true , but there is a good chance their attack may be non existent and their defence will be bolstered within their structure . A transfer of some of our defence to attack might be in order ...just an opinion though taff

We must win our home games for the rest of the season otherwise our away wins count for nothing, We need to start scoring more than one goal also as we have seen what hanging on to one goal can do. Palace are a good side but so are we and i have a good feeling about this game as long as paloschi starts the match..

If we win our next four home games, which are all winnable, we are only two points away from the magic 40 and surely we can pick up more than two from the rermaining games

Incorrect, our away wins will still be worth 3 points <ok>

Lose our home games means the home games count for nothing in terms of points. Win our away games and they count for 3 points. Losing a home game doesn't mean you lose the three points from an away game you have already won. Those are facts Dai <ok>

PMT (pre-match tension) kicking in. <yikes>

Cautiously optimistic. Hoping that the match isn't unduly and erroneously influenced by Mike Dean.

3 points today would set us up nicely, taking us above Bournemouth (who play Arsenal tomorrow). Hopefully, Villa will not lose to Norwich, Liverpool will beat Sunderland and Newcastle will fail to beat West Brom.

I'd rather Newcastle beat WBA because if we win we will go above WBA and still be 5 points clear of Newcastle.

.... but if we win and WBA win, we would be 8 pts clear of Newcastle.

Very confident for today. 3-1 with Palo to get a couple of goals.

I'd prefer the bottom three all lose, always turn the screw when you're in a favourable position <ok>

Agree. Beat Palace today with Villa, Sunderland and NU losing would be the perfect weekend results wise.
