I was in a Chip shop the other week for a fish supper.

When I came out I had a look and there were only about 6 chips.

I went back in and asked "Is this fish fresh?"

"Yes" replied the serving wench.

"I thought so" says I, "Its eaten half my ****ing chips".

 

And that's the thing - if someone looks genuinely like they need some help i'll give It. I hate being harrassed by nosey, sorry,"friendly" natives and wouldn't want to do that myself

On time i was in a fish shop and the guy in front of me had a cod under his arm and asked the guy behind the counter if he had any fishcakes. The guy behind the counter said he was sorry, but he hadn't. Quick as a flash the guy in front of me pointed to the fish under his arm and said, "oh that's a shame, it's his birthday today"

 

Not bad manners, blocking the whole pavement because they can.
