Funny how many fans have the same opinion of Lawro's predictions.

Difficult game as the team have a bit of pressure on them after having no pressure against United or Arsenal.

Close game, but I think will nick it. Just.

"Could the duo return against #WHUFC?"

Why are they asking us? I'd hoped they might know.

Amazing how things move on....I was disappointed that Targett is unfit, whereas it would have made no impact a few weeks ago. Pity about Davis, but no need to rush him.
I wish Ronald would say 'yes' and 'no' correctly. He seems to use them at random to start sentences. He sounded like he regretted what he said to Wenger, but his subsequent comment was exactly the opposite. He said he means what he says. Like his honesty again....what was reported was true...none of this flannel about exaggeration or misunderstandings.

Now as you will know, I am an official sandal-wearing optimist and this is the very positive thread, but have you checked out the weather forecast for tomorrow? I may have to swap the sandals for flippers. They may not need to sprinkle the pitch. Alway do though. I and those attending are going to get soaked. Still think we will win though.

Wash your mouth out....they will always use sprinklers, even if the pitch is under a foot of water (known at SMS as slightly damp).

I did say that they would anyway, Fran. As for washing my mouth out, I will have a nice gargle tomorrow ;)

If the weather is as bad as predicted, and the pitch gets waterlogged, that will really favour the lump it up to the forward type of tactics. Thankfully Allardyce is no longer in charge.

55mph wind as well. I'd probably sit in the Chapel for this one.

Shame no Matty Targett as his absence rules out playing the three at the back that has worked so well...oh well 4-2-3-1 again but I would start with Long as the one because they have big physical CBs who won't enjoying Mr Perpetual Motion running rings round them
Austin to come on 60-70 minutes depending on the scoreline
Hope we don't risk Steve Davis but give him another week to recover and hopefully stay fit and on form for the rest of the season

Maybe he'll play Yoshida in a back 3 instead of Bertrand :bandit:
