Up for the Brighton game. Any decent early pre-game curries to recommend? Main drinking will be old town.....

You'll find a better outside the City Limits, DMD will recommend somewhere in the ER.

Not even sure there is an Indian in town, is there?.
The one top of Bev Rd is supposed to be good but i dont like it.
Bengal Pride on Chants is good, not far to walk either.

Tandoor Mahal opposite Cod for me as well, sampled a fair few of Hull's curry houses and this one is up there for quality/price.

:emoticon-0136-giggl Funny you say that, someone was just talking about the one in Hessle being half way decent.

Bengal Lounge on Prinny Ave is very good, there's another one further down but I forget the name of it, it's really popular.

    Rays place.

Best curry you'll ever have, in the early hours, after skinful.

Complete with an order 12 naan and 27 poppadoms.

Yes you can eat out in Hull after midnight.

Tandoor Mahal opposite Silver Cod like others have said. My sister went there and there is no one more critical of restaurants, and she enjoyed it.

Not Indian, but Thai House on Prinny Ave is very good and handy for the game.

I'd flag cinnamon as the worst proper curry house I've tried ,

Anaan in Anlaby is really nice , Voujons specials and Baltis are worth a try , not been in Alashi ? On county red but their take always are good

The best curry house there has been in hull closed last year Raj Puri on Spring bank , they closed as not enough ppl went there sadly .

Buttheresnowtwront with Tandoor Mahaal and old old favourite

Tariq's in Headingly, Leeds, serve the best curry. You know Leeds is superior, don't bother with Hull.

We go there all the time. I think it's excellent.

Someone at work mentioned Cinnamon today. Apparently it was decent.

Has the Kyhber Pass gone? It was in the old town 20 - 25 years ago. Good for late drinks when the pubs shut at 10-30 and you couldn't get into a night club.

Ha ha Kyhber..the one cross the road from Mint...we all know the rumours about that place in the late 80s 90s..

Attactive young ladies got more in there food than they expected ...
