You obviously didn't see Sunderland against City on Tuesday. For the whole of the second half City couldn't get out of their own half. Sunderland were doing to the second top club what teams like them normally do to Sunderland! Be afraid, be very afraid!
Thing is, that will suit us. Klopp's been better against the teams that have put us under pressure. when we dominate possession and pen teams in, we don't win because we can't get the break through; ie, we're not good enough in attack.
We did much better against teams that attacked us. Leaving large spaces behind. Those teams that sat back we did poorly. I cannot believe that Big Sam hasn't worked that out.
Don't forget the fans are planning a walk out in this game, in protest of the ticket prices. The club is going to be richer than ever this summer, but see it fit to get a couple million more out of the fans at Anfield.
hold your horses, Ian ayre has spoken tbf my take on the situation is, as long as the seat that i want is still available at a reasonable price to me then i'm cool. i live 200miles away from anfield so i only tend to go 3-4 times a year but i really could care less what they price tickets for the new main stand tier is...and how do people know they won't lower it after the first season?
never heard of a corporate seat in a game of football before? it's the new main stand which the demand for will be very high, ofc prices for it will increase. also why no mention of the £9 tickets available?
£77 is a lot of money to watch a game of football, but that is the most expensive seats. I don't know for certain but I'd imagine the people that would have to pay £77 for their seats aren't currently paying £30 for example... If imagine they're already paying high 60s so the increase is in relation. I've not seen whole ticket prices but Ayre has said that plenty of them have been reduced or frozen in price. What you need to make sure is the majority of the seats in the Kop and anfield road end are affordable to locals so if they want to go they can. I don't know if that is the case or not? The he seats in the half way line either side are going to be expensive just because they're the best seats in the house.. My problem with anfield is how the away fans get a whole section behind the goal! Shove them in a corner like other teams do not right behind our GK for a half!
They're not corporate seats you tit. They're standard seats. The £9 kids seats will only be available for 3 games next season and limited to 1,000. It's called tokenism
