That's the great thing about this thread, there literally aren't any pictures of Spurs that bother us. Whereas we have pics of Arsenal players lifting the premier league trophy, the FA cup, sometimes both at the same time, sometimes at WHL.

 

The point of this thread isn't to post photos of our respective teams winning trophies; it is for posters (not me or Pixie) to help Luvvy agree on a suitable avatar to carry, as a punishment for losing our little wager. I am assuming that Luvvy intends to choose an avatar that he believes will be most embarrassing to the loser.

Personally, I believe that the most embarrassing thing that either of us could do is be forced to carry an avatar showing the other's club badge and motto. For me, it would be the virtual equivalent of being forced to wear an Arsenal shirt for a month.

 

I wasn't moaning at all, I was laughing at you posting pictures of non Spurs players and agreeing with RCL that the picture of Kabul was a 'golden oldie'

Really is your go to position. Unless someone has suggested that we have won the PL, what do you gain out of stating a fact that everybody knows?

Because I know it is the truth that hurts Spurs the most - they haven't been a title winning side for over half a century, yet they still seem to think they are a big club, which is truly delusional

So what? It's been 26 years since 'Pool last won the title! And they're supposed to be one of Europe's power-house sides!

Being a "big club" is not dependent on winning the league, as Leicester may well demonstrate.

I cannot speak for other Spurs fans, but I can assure you that it doesn't "hurt" me that Spurs have not won the league since the 61/62 season. It frustrates me that it's taken this long for us to put together a manager/squad combination that gives us a decent chance, but that really is the most you or anyone else can claim.

 

So what constitutes being a big club ?

What aspects of Spurs do you think makes them a big club, or do you not think they are a big club ?
