Wood aggravated his Hamstring ten days ago, and has had two further scans to establish the extent of the injury. Doukara and Antenucci will be standing by. Intereestingly Wood has scored 8 times for the whites, whilst Forests' leading scorer Nelson Miguel Castro Oliveira has only scored 7. It is usually entertaining when Forest come to Elland Road, here are the last 5 results. Steve Evans has said he will quit if Leeds don't mount a promotion next season Thoughts? It looks likely that Lafferty will join Leeds on an emergency loan next week. Is he the right calibre of player? Thoughts?
Morning Elland. The way our season has gone, I'll believe Lafferty coming when it happens. Clearly we need more strikers. But January isn't the best time to get one. On Evans, I think we will have a busy summer and he will push us on towards a genuine promotion push
Morning all. Not a whole lot to discuss till next round of cup. Wonder will Wood be fit for that. Just thinking what will we do if Doukara picks up an injury. For those interested by the way. Laffertys stats for last eight years shows he averaged a goal every 4 games roughly while at Rangers, a goal every 5 games since leaving them.So if we sign him, we can expect a return of between three and four goals if he plays all games until the end of the season. Just what we need Dont think Evans will have to worry about resigning if we dont get promotion next season, hell get several nudges towards the exit door
Not into stats myself Eire but I'm sure his stats are as good as a lot of the players that we have now and the ones that have left us. Personally if he scored the winner in every four or five games I'd be happy with that. Anyway, we haven't signed him on loan yet and if he's ****e we won't buy him. But at the moment beggers can't be chooses and I won't pre judge him till after he's played a few games for us. Morning by the way
Morning Shaks. We wont be wasting much on a loan deal anyway and with it being a dead season, Im not arsed who we sign on loan from now till end of season. Just hope Glory's top secret talks with The Dubai lot over the last week, bear fruit by the summer. Oops, I wasnt supposed to tell
Evans will be gone before 1/6/16.... He is starting to bite the hand that feeds him after getting stiffed by Massivego. You know what happens when coaches start questioning his authority.
He will be given a budget of circa 15m for purchases in the summer by King Massimo. He will add two quality strikers and added to the progress already made under Evans, that could well see us as a top two side next season
