Just for you Sweetpea .. The Express have done a whole article on our chip-and-rush style ... I know you'll enjoy it as you place great stock on newspaper articles <laugh>

One man's entertainment is another man's anathema eh? ... good luck with the ponderous 'expansive' build ups ... (before finally reverting to a long ball punt which, fair play, Dele Alli is now becoming raher adept at getting on the end of) <laugh>

Very nice. But that's one brief moment in one game. I'm not an Leicester supporter so I don't follow all your games. But, on the evidence of what I saw when you played us, particularly in your self confessed 'smash & grab' win at WHL, you most definitely play an Italian style defend and break fast style of football.

Is that the amazing West Ham 'cockney' sense of humour that your famous for!

You clearly don't visit many of the forums here if you think Spurs are the most deluded fans. Maybe you are just another bitter spammer, the world is full of them as far as I can see. West Ham fans hate Spurs I know that, and in my experience Spurs fans have no interest in your team at all, but I guess its hard to form real rivalries when you change division on a regular basis.

Yes it was wasn't it <ok> ... I of course am a Leicester supporter and have seen every game this season (in one form or another) so you will be pleased to know that, whilst admittedly this is at the extreme end, it is the type of football that we have generally tried to play (especially at home) - technically good, very quick passing and movement but with a view to advance as rapidly as possible rather than over elaboration across the back or in the middle of the park... it has worked a dream tbf

.... in addition we can mix it up - try and rough us up and we give it back (West Brom were probably te worst for that as a team) ... but the biggest difference has been the tactical nous of our manager - he has been adept at nullifying the opposition whilst not overly compromising the attacking philosophy - as evidenced in the league game at yours ... which I think you should take as a compliment in that Ranieri obviously had a lot of respect for your capabilities ... in fairness we have only had one very poor away performance all season, at Liverpool (our only away loss to date) .. the next 2 fixtures are huge and will be a real test of our metal and Ranieri's tactical brain ... but as I said ... can't complain so far ...

What about Arsenal - or was that at home? That's your only awful performance so far isn't it?

    h- C
.. strangely not ... (and yes at home) the scoreline didn't look good and defensively we got exposed ... but very few Leicester fans would be overly critical of the performance ... whole game turned on one moment in the first half when score 1-1... we scored first (excellent finish from Vady) but then allowed Walcott one-on-one withe Huth so a rather soft equaliser ... but before they got the second we had hit the woodwork twice with Cech beaten ... then the turning point ... Vardy has ball galloping towards Arsenal penalty area .. Okazaki springting to make it 2 on 2 - Cazorla, who is getting outpaced trips Okazaki (ref misses it as he is watching ball) and Vardy is then on his own ... goes past last defender but Cech able to come out and smoother ... bombs it down pitch and Arsenal score ... so instead of 2-1 down at half-time we could easily have gone in 3-1 up and with Cazorla on a booking ...

Second half we chased it throughout ... even having lost a soft goal right at the start when Sanchez somehow scored with a header beating Schmeicel in the air ... just shouldn't have happened ... still we kept going and got another but they scored a further couple due to stretching us ... they were certainly at their best with all their key players fit ... no complaints about the final result but it could have been a lot different if the ref had seen the Cazorla incident and we hadn't hit the woodwork twice ...

Very few Leicester fans were critical about the performance ... although understanably disappointed by the result ... was an exhilirating game with both sides going for it end to end ... tremendous entertainment ... although we were, in hindsight, very naiive ...hopefully not so now .. and both full-backs from that game now replaced amd, as results proving, seem far more robust defensively with Fuchs and Simpson having come in ...

Agree with that. I have loads of Tottenham mates and am surprised that not one of them is even entertaining the thought that you might win the league - they're still fretting about fourth place. It's almost like Levy has written to the entire fan base telling them what to say <laugh>

Dan, mate, most of us older Spurs fans know better than to expect anything. It usually fades and dies like The Spammers bubbles.

Having said that, I do believe that Pochettino has give us a much tougher edge, a mental resilience that hasn't been there for a long time! Sooooo...without getting too expectant, I'm not quite as pessimistic as I might have been in previous years.

Can you actually find a single source to back up your nonsense?
Vardy and Mahrez are involved in a lot of your goals? So what? How does that demonstrate anything to do with entertainment?

Attempting to show one single highlight simply supports exactly what I've been saying all along, too.
You're capable of doing good things and have some talented players.
You largely set up to frustrate the opposition, make things dull and then hit them on the break at pace.
Everything that you've posted has shown exactly that, yet you rage against it as if your life depended on it. It's bizarre.

  18. To be fair to Ern, I don't think Spanners are any more deluded than us Yids - we each are disappointed when we don't reach the heights that the professional pundits would claim are beyond us, so in that respect we are probably about the same.

I think the only area of delusion where Spanners do carry a hint of delusion is their idea that they are any where near us in terms of squad depth or strength, but I wouldn't claim that that applies to every Spanner.

Soon time for revenge possibly? It's a sign of how far you've come that I'd have to think about who I'd want to win between you guys - never had any doubt in that fixture before! Hang it, hope you stuff em.
