Not really, the only obsessed people on the whole forum (where Nev is concerned) seems to be Liverpool supporters and he certainly didn't play for them

Sorry Stan. missed the combine the bet rather than follow on. I'm not likely to pick that up lol...

But I'll certainly take you up on a separate bet that Everton won't finish above us...one condition as always when I do this...it goes to charity...we name it and loser posts proof of transfer....

My charity would be Autism Assistance Dogs NI...train dogs for autistic children?

    Up for it Stan?

Great player, loved his club, great commentator: neutral when analysing while not trying to pretend he doesn't love one club he played his heart out for.

Is that called obsession? (Any of my GNev posts previously will back the above up).

As opposed to Manc fans continuing to avidly follow the career of an ex manager of ours from 6 years ago.

I can not tell you what race track clubhouse Fergie is currently drunk in and what Moyes had for breakfast...honestly...we didn't win the league with him and I can only assume you lot got pissed at the idea that they stopped showing the manc highlights as an example of the "most exciting comeback in CL history"?

Fair comment about Rafa, but he was supposed to be some fantastic manager, Nev has never even been an assistant before he is trying to help out a business partner.
I happen to think he would make a very good manager if he sticks at it, but much more experienced men than him have been battered by Barca without going down to 10 men.

Think i said the same here tonight. He's a focussed guy..serious about what he does.

I personally think he over reached but hey! Who wouldn't have taken the job?

If he is serious about management then his next job won't be glitzy. If not; he can go back to commentating which he is very good at.

Personally I miss him. Although Henry talks sense once he relaxed. Could be a great 3 team on sky next year..two defenders and a forward.

I think I've already made that bet. If I haven't then I'll happily take the bet with you, if I have then I'll stick with the original bet. Astro and his clipboard will no doubt confirm.

Happy for the money to go to charity.

In fact, let's start a thread where all the big talk is converted to bets on a weekly basis and the money goes to charity.

Either shut the **** up or put your money where your mouth is in the knowledge that if you're wrong the money goes to a good cause?!

In fact...so it lasts...we'll make it a set, sensible amount rule so it doesn't get silly and get banned. Unless some mod tells us gambling for charity breaks forum rules???

He is a fantastic manager. He's won 2 La Liga titles, 2 Uefa Cups, 1 Champions league & loads of other domestic trophies. Steve Kean got a win at Old Trafford against Ferguson, it didn't mean Ferguson stopped being a fantastic manager afterwards

My idea, I get the cut!

We should do this though. With low minimum bets we would wedge out the people who really believe in what they say, get rid of the bullshitters and also make a few quid for charity given most of us are wrong 99% of the time! I know Astro wouldn't take part!
