We bought Doumbia to play off Mitro, I don't understand why the **** he is playing Perez up front on his own. Moronic from Mac it has to be said!
The tactics aren't working so I'm hoping (but not necessarily expecting) a change in formation at HT. Mitro on for Perez for me.
Lets look at the positives here. It's only 1-0. It could be 3-0 with how badly we played. For me Perez and Shelvey or Sissoko off, Mitro and Doumbia on.
Agree. Play Perez and play the ball on the deck. Townsend isn't a down the wing and cross the ball type winger so not compulsory to play Mitro. Just would have been my choice.
He tries but he's not being effective. Sissoko can make a difference at least on the break which, even if we come back into the game, we will probably need to do more of in the second half.
To me Perez comes up more often to make the difference then Sissoko - we're not playing Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool etc!
