We can still win it ? On current form it doesn't look likely, but we are only just half way through the season. So anything can happen.

  2. What? You mean we ought to be more careful than you and your not-so-merry band of elves and fairies were, at the start of the season, when you were coming out with that bollocks about West Ham and Palace making a shift on us?

I think you ought to heed your own advice, Pix! You are, currently, in the process of the greatest "owning" of your entire life!

God forbid, mate, that you finish below the Spanners!

I don't see why you shouldn't. City are awful at times

Ah but you see HIAG, that was based on your 'power-shift' logic, so every time you mention West Ham's power shift you are wumming yourself.
Such is the ease with which I turn your wums back on themselves <ok>

I think Leicester are the team to beat now. Everybody has been writing them off, saying that they will drop off, but they are still up there.

  6. Yeah, there certainly is no sign of that infamous Power-Shift. Nothing to see, here, folks!

Be nice if they won it. But they may get injuries etc. Do you think Spurs have a chance?

I think any one of the top 4 have got a chance. It's too close to call at the moment.

If Leicester have a chance, and it seems that they do, then yes; Spurs have a chance too.

Nobody else seems particularly keen to win it this year, so why not?

"God forbid, mate, that you finish below the Spanners!"

    Will not happen.
Any possibility of losing their CL slot to the Spanners will trigger the end of season (not actual)
    "title-winning" form.

So their players have to slump a bit more before Wenger gets the customary ECT jolts.

Worth it though to see how A87 would react?

I think they are all keen to win it, let's not take anything away from the unusual suspects turning up this season, just because we have become indoctrinated with Sky hyperbole. If Spurs succeed it is not because other teams let us. It's because of us being better than them. I won't give the sky4 any backhanded compliments like they have a right to it. I hope Leicester **** up big time too. The love in with them is nauseating. However it has to be the Leicester bandwagon for the usual suspects because, and I do take this as a backhanded compliment, because Spurs are threatening to be the team everyone thought they could be for a while now. Leicester are like that kid doing something very adult like and all the dumb adults find it cute.

Why do you think Arsenal don't win games like this when the title is on?

It must be down to Wenger surely

Every team goes through a patch of poor form during the season. There's still 42 points to be won or lost this season. It's a long way from being over yet <ok>

I'd have to agree to an extent. Pochettino has certainly instilled a mental toughness in our lot that wasn't there before. So yes, to some extent the attitude and ethic of the team reflects that of the manager

Agree. My question is why do Arsenal fold when they should seize the moment?

Spurlock <hug> LCFC ... <laugh> .. and fair play - what's not to love? ... scoring records, goal of the season, rocking the establishment, changing opinions, changing perceptions, demolishing the possession myth ... and all without spunking money left right and centre ... <ok>

  19. I hear what you're saying, Fossil; and it may well be possible that Ranieri has found an antidote to the prettier, more entertaining forms of football, that we've come to love to watch, in this country. However, I do hope that Leicester's chip-and-rush style of football isn't the death-knell for all the skilful players in our league. That would be a sad day, mate.

... 30 sideways passes over goalmouth action any day eh? <laugh> ... biggest irony of all perhaps is that you have based your board name on one of the finest longe range passers in English footballing history ... might I suggest you change it to HILH "Hoof It Like Hoddle" ...

PS ... most skillfull player in British football currently ... Riyad Mahrez ... without compare ... #NutmegsForFun ...
