with the new stan bowles brought in from burton we could really make things happen but we must now attack forget defending lets play two up frontand keep the german as the super sub

front line of denzil and matty phillips

with hoilett and nausser pushing up from wide midfield positions

it could work lets face it if we sit back and defend we will get murderd

 

The German is our best bet at scoring at the moment Ted. Agree we should go two up top but think the play offs are out of our reach

 

Am I alone in not wanting to get there this year?

 

Agree eamon we are not ready for it yet.

 

We probably will never be "ready for it", we probably never have. So take it when you can and enjoy it while it lasts, like about 40 years ago.

 

Difficult one Eamon.....agree we're no where near ready for it this season, but with the amount of cash floating around next season it may be worth a season of tonkings to net a cool £100m.......

Besides another day out at Wembley would be spiffing.......

 

Another change of mind Ted? On Monday we were warned to expect 'riots'. To put it bluntly we have no chance of going up...

if les moved quicker and secured roofe from oxford then we will have a good chance next season of hitting the play offs
but old ray wilkins the second takes so long about projected deals that by the time he makes a move the player has quadrupled i championed the cause of buying gray from brentford when they were in the division below,we could have got him for two million at that time but no les waits untill hes worth ten million then bids six million for him these players are out there but les lacks the experience to be able to go into these transfers knowing hes right

 

Totally agree...two or even three seasons in this league, to build a proper squad ready to go up, sounds great

Anybody who thinks we still have a chance to reach the play offs is simply deluded. Sorry if that offends anybody but it is the truth. Look forward to next season because it aint going to happen.

Agree, need time to knit and build.

These youngsters we have brought in, are no where near top of Championship level

 

I think we have a better chance of relegation than promotion. We are a club on the decline and the longer we spend in this division the harder it will be. Settling and rebuilding will get harder as our income will decline.
