Exactly, with City theres no chickens to count. They will finish top 4 this season, most likely win at least one of the title, the FA Cup, the Champions league or the league cup and will almost definitely be in next seasons Champions league. No risk.
Risk what exactly? Isn't it always a risk regardless of where you're at except for few places. If anyone wants no risks, then they would go to Arsenal where you are guaranteed to always play and stay as manager for 20 years regardless of results. So long as you get Top 4.
Bayern hasn't won the Champions League. So let's calm down on these claims. Nothing is guaranteed until done!
Theres always an element of risk, but City are far less riskier than United right now. They have a squad capable of winning the league, they are well entrenched in the top 4. Your assertion that Pep should just throw caution to the wind, take less pay, and the riskier job, just because it is United and you will get some kind of thrill from it, is ridiculous.
I don't necessarily think it's a less risky option. I think it's a more rewarding option for money, that is for sure. EPL itself is a risk far greater than any other league in Europe.
What have Bayern got to do with anything? City are in the League Cup final, to play against a ****e Liverpool. Big chance of winning that. They are 2nd in the league, 3 points behind last seasons relegation favourites, so a big chance of winning that. They are still in the FA Cup and Champions League also. United are out of the CL, out of the league cup, are placed 5th, so are less likely of getting top 4, and the FA Cup is their only chance of silverware. Nothing is guaranteed. But City WILL win a trophy this year (I would bet money on it) and WILL be in next seasons Champions League. United wont win ****, and are 5 points from the top 4.....again, this decision is a no brainer.
Yes, dont get me wrong, I dont like Pep at all, and am hoping he crashes and burns. The PL is a completely different animal to any of the other European Leagues. Its so unpredictable, which is why I facepalm myself everytime I hear people talk about La Liga being better.
I have no issues with United and was actually quite fond of them growing up. However the way they are being ran now and a blinkered fans perspective that you are still a better catch to a random foreign player is bias at best. It's sad to see an advertising guru running this great club so poorly and to see them as 'low' as 5th in the table - still a dream for a club like mine (Norwich) but for United...not good enough. Going to be a BIG summer.
That front 6 consisted of Nani, Kagawa and Valencia at the time...head and shoulders above any other attack in Europe....oh meth!
Certainly a strange one. Jose was scathing about Hazard. This is a picture of Chavbus greatest ever club legend (after kerry dixon) being hounded out the club by chavs like @armchairblue please log in to view this image Look at the humiliation. And fat belly chavs are applauding the fella that got him the boot What a fcking mickey mouse club
You are banging on about being five points from top 4. But let's not forget how quickly things change in this league, Bodanki. Unless there are only three games left, I wouldn't start writing off United sneaking back into the top four.
Hopefully we see some positive changes on our end to boast both morale and ability to challenge next season. It may not be the walk in the park that most are predicting right now. With City, there is without a doubt higher expectation for Pep to win the league in all his three years while at United, he would have got away with making excuses such as transitioning. On another note; on paper Klopp is a god and BR wouldn't be good enough to clean his shoes. But now we all see how challenging it can be for someone who has no experience in England. He may end up turning it around but he sure as hell now knows that this ain't German league. This is why I believe Jose is a better bet for solid experience here.
United would do good to send Giggs off to manage someone like Celtic (as is being rumoured) for 2-3 years to cut his teeth as a manager, in the meantime, bring someone like Jose in for 2-3 years to steady the ship and then hand the reins over to Giggsy once he has a couple of years experience under his belt.
