Wilshere is yet to make an appearance this campaign following a freak injury during training ahead of Arsenal's clash against Chelsea for the Community Shield. The midfielder was expected to return at the end of 2015, but suffered a setback and was expected back in mid-March. Wenger had admitted that the player has begun running, which would see him return to full fitness in six weeks.

According to the Telegraph, however, the midfielder has suffered a setback following his return to full training and is now facing the prospect of missing the entirety of the season, which will put his chances of making the England squad for the European Championships in France in June in serious doubt.

In his press conference on Monday morning,Wenger denied that Wilshere had suffered a setback.

So is Wilshere officially injury prone or are we pretending that he's ok? Not only is he getting injured in games but in training too? Maybe we should put him in a protective air bubble to keep him safe from injury, then we might get some bloody use out of him?

It has been confirmed that Rosicky will be out for three months.Sadly I doubt we'll see him in an Arsenal shirt again.

I agree, it is such a shame - it would be nice if he can play in one of the summer friendlies so fans get a chance to say goodbye to him, but it won't happen.

Agree Rosicky has been influential and a match winner at times. We do seem to have more than our fair share of injuries but can't work out why. Is it the pitch or training methods? See we are linked with Sturridge who has long history of problems. ÑOOOOO
