Better team today if we can repeat that performance against the bin dippers and man united I can see us getting something from them games. New lads apart from N'Doye looked decent, the German and Kone in particular were very impressive.
Some points would have been great but what you've just said was the most important thing from that match.
Sounds weird off the back off a loss but I'm actually a lot more optimistic now! If we can keep Kirchhoff fit he could turn out to be an absolute ****ing bargain.

Kirchhoff, Kone, Khazri all special tonight. Was especially impressed by Kirchhoff as he was talking and guiding other players throughout the game. Given his performance tonight he should stay be a midfielder as Kone was also class. Just a shame that our chances fell to the wrong people.
West Brom just equalized. The relegation battle was about to turn into a 4 team mini league. thank **** for that. The league table suddenly looks a lot better
Strangely enough I`m not too disappointed. Pleased (And a little surprised) at Kirchoff. Did very well I thought. Kone looked good. Nobody`s going to bully that lad. Khazri did ok, some good signs. Considering it was their first game I think they`ll do ok. Next of course we get to see what the new look Mighty Mags can do. Should be interesting.
Am sat on a plane at Heathrow about to fly to Argentina, saw the scores and was gutted, but the positive response in here has cheered me up a little. Lets hope its onwards and upwards. See you on the other side FTM.

Big problem for Sam still searching for best formation and personnel, more than halfway through the season. 4-1-4-1 like the first hour tonight is very defensively sound but Defoe doesnt get a kick. I still think we need two up top, meaning 3-5-2 really. To be fair Hart only made two saves. Thought your two centre backs stood up and fought well. Aguero, though, what a footballer.
What about Khazri corners ? They looked wicked. His corner inswinging to the near post caused all kinds of chaos and then he put one near the far post and Man City were stymied - though to be fair it looks like our own players need a few more practice sessions with him so they know what he will do. With Liverpool's defensive record at the moment, reckon we might be able to score a few against them.
Great display, a special cheer for Big Jan, after a poor debut he bounces back with a man of the match performance, Kone also looks a winner keep this up lads and we will survive, game on.

Agree but they do. If our support was like that every game it'd be worth an extra 5 points a season I reckon! I really enjoyed the game. If not for a little luck we'd have got something today. We were the better side I thought. Kirchhoff is truly another next level footballer. Looks every bit as good as M'Vila. Cattermole doesn't start against the lower sides IMO! Start him against the top sides but put him on the bench against the lower end ones
