Game is crying out for Coutinho or Tex, a player with a bit of guile. Moreneo has got forward well but he needs to think more, if there are two choices he picks the wrong one every time

 

Why don't people calm the **** down?? We are playing the league leaders and have done alright to be fair.

It's an open game, we could have bagged a couple so could they but the fact they are the best team so far this season and we are playing them away from home and are 0-0 and overall had the better of it id say some growing up is in order

We slow everything down on 18 yard line.

The midfield 3 are controlling lepicenter but once it gets to lallana in particular it then ends up with three tricks and nothing.

Yes lucas in particular is trying to do so.

 

With the midfield we've put out it's what you expect really. Dogged and full off running without the cutting edge going forward. The pockets of space are there, and the odd times so have been the runners. We have Firmino dropping in to the hole but we don't have the nous and quality to find or see the runners from there.. Just crying out for a Coutinho or a Sturridge.. Overall it's what you expect from an attack of let's be honest, midfielders.

 

Also - have been tearing my hair out with these short corners BUT it's actually quite clever if you think about it - float one into Kaspers hands and we risk a serious threat on the counter

 

Dunno about it being midfield. But OK I get the point. I just think if they did run lallana would take too long to find any.
