We're ok then. I was just pointing out the subs bench. I'm sure several had just looked at DTLW's starting 11 [with no bench displayed]] and missed Tom's slightly earlier post which included the full line up: please log in to view this image
Consider that Koeman is playing a little more on the front foot. He can always take off Tadic and put Targett on and go 3-5-2. Incidentally, did we beat Arsenal at home with 3-5-2 or 4-3-3 or something else ?
vic and romeo will grab that midfield by the balls and and shake it until Flamini is crying. Claise to replace the first who is booked
Arsenal have just spent the last week analysing our 3-5-2 formation and how to deal with Charlie Austin!
Enjoy! Whatever the result I'll be happy if we play well. I've had a **** day, so I need something to cheer me up and I can't follow the game due to a prior commitment! So .... COYGs indeed!!
I like it that Ron gives no hint to the formation we'll set up as by announcing the players in that order [above]. After all, why give the opposing manager any help at all ? Gives Wenger just that last bit of uncertainty until the match gets underway.
We beat them with a diamond. Steven Davis was in the hole, but he's absent tonight, so Tadić to fill in? Entirely likely that we could be in the diamond again tonight. Wanyama sitting. JWP and Romeu together and Tadić behind Mané and Long as a front two.
The echo is reporting the line up as 4-2-3-1, which would be a shame, IMO. Two quickies up top, one each for their CBs to mark, will worry them more than just Long up front being marked by two defenders.
Yeah, Tadic can do that. That'll help in the transition from defence to attack. Little test for Dusan to be in a game for 90 mins, if so required.
