really not sure on the new x-files, gave the 1st 3 shows a go last night and it seems they are gonna struggle with this tbh, ill keep with it for now but it diddnt "grab me" as of yet. i do like the new heroes though, binge watched all the new reborn episodes this week, good **** if ya like that kind of stuff
I struggled with this concept.. the x files what 20 years on? You'd have thought a) they'd be fired long since b) they'd be killed off by someone. I thought there was a big chance for a new cast there or have one of the two as a director (skully bascially) but to have both still at it? I just don't know.
well in the show they've both left the fbi after the xfiles being closed down, also after putting their baby up for adoption to protect/hide it from whoever, a govt/alien youtube conspiracy star (think alex jones) reels them back in with some story about the govt using alien technology to do experiments on humans under the guise of alien abduction. yeah like i said, not grabbing me so far nut i will stick with it for a few more shows and see how it goes. i really used to like the originals though, so thought id give the new ones a shot.
There's so many oddities on tv now surely they could just go to the set of jeremey kyle and investigate inbreeding.
saw Legend (the kray film) Not what i was expecting tbh, it was a decent watch but it seemed like i was waiting 2 hours for some "propah gangsta violence" and it just never happened? Hardy was pretty good, although that mumbling cockney accent he's done in a few roles now (bane/peaky blinders) is annoying and hard to understand at times. ill give it a 6/10 probably wont watch it again in a hurry.
I enjoyed it. However, the two British films... -The Rise of the Krays - The Fall of the Krays ...are much better imo
