It is but it's great to see a jumped up twat not getting his way. We should have done the same with Sterling. I hope he gets his dues on 28/02

It is but I think you lot should be thankful really, I really don't rate him that much and with dodgy attitude surely you didn't want to spend that much on him? I mean he's not worth 6 Charlie Austins <ok>

With WBA as well they know they are not quite safe yet, with the money going up this Summer it's really not that much of a gamble, he'll still get 10-15m or so for him in the Summer I imagine. I'm sure if they had a replacement lined up he would of left.

  5. Wow! That is desperate stuff, even by your incredible needy standards, Pixie!

The thread was named after Berahino did actually threaten to go on strike - that's your first wum fcuk-up.

My asking a question is not the same as me making any kind of statement as to how I will answer that question. I answered the question by stating that we should wait until the Summer and pay nothing for him - that's your second wum fcuk-up.

I never said anything about you "definitely" claiming anything, but I do maintain that you have tried to suggest that Berahino will not be coming to Spurs - that's your third wum fcuk-up.

Do you really wish me to continue?

    No, thought not.

Open wide, Pixie, you have a foot to put in your mouth!

PS: By the way, Stan, well done on manipulating another "like" out of Pixie! it's like taking candy from a (very ugly) baby, eh!

TBH, in not sure that we're still that interested in him. I just thought Peace was behaving in a non professional way. Ok, so the players, or maybe employees, as Peace sees them, have more power than many of us would like. But, as a chairman, you must deal in realities, not stubborn pride.

  7. Where does Berry say anything about it being a mistake to criticise Peace?

It really is desperate times for you, on this thread, isn't it, Pix? You really have lost all dignity, now. Shame on you.

The reality is, of course, is that, with his tweet, Berry is continuing to rip the piss out of Peace and WBA. I reckon he's being tutored by Levy what to write.

That said, the fact that Levy has let Prichard go to WBA on loan will inform any intelligent person that some kind of deal is likely to have been brokered for Berry, to come to Spurs in the Summer. Berry has been told this, so he's more relaxed in this window, and will undoubtedly get his head down and put in some hard work, to get his fitness back to where Poch is going to really need it.

  8. I really don't think there is any stubborn pride at work, here. No one is more stubborn than Levy, and I really cannot believe that he would have let Prichard go on loan to WBA if he had not come to some kind of compromise with Peace over Berahino.

Too many things about such a deal simply would not stack up, otherwise.

Let's say they are still at logger-heads, and let's suppose (for the sake of argument) that Levy let Prichard go there with Peace still simmering over the fact that Berahino has been disrupted all season by Levy's actions... Levy would have handed Peace an opportunity, on a plate, to **** with one of our most promising youngsters!

Do you really, in all honesty, think that it likely? Do you really think that Levy is that stupid?

Or, is it more likely that Levy and Peace have been talking and have come to some kind of compromise (clearly involving a Summer transfer) whereby Peace has said, "okay, but you have to throw in Prichard on loan for the rest of this season?"

True to an extent, but this is changing. The little clubs don't have to roll over for the big teams anymore with the tv money what it is now. As a fan of a club who has sold A LOT of talent in recent windows I admire his stance, and I bet a lot of WBA fans will be happy with him to send out a message and lose what 10odd million?

I guess Peace doesn't have any shareholders to answer to, but £10mill is still £10mill, even in today's crazy game.

    Keep em coming HIAG.

You said he was effectively on strike - tell me how does him playing and scoring mean that he's on strike ?

You have said repeatedly rhat I have 'predicted' that he will sign a new contract with WBA, so show me my quote where I predicted that it would happen ?

Berahino hasn't gone to Spurs. Please explain how that is a wum **** up ?

And yes please do continue :) please back up your claim that nobody was questioning Berahino's attitude prior to transfer issue ?

Also his tweet last night was in reference to his behaviour during the last transfer window. He said that he wouldn't be repeating the same mistake. What else do you think he was referring to ?

I await your answers with no bottling please <ok>

I would suggest that it works both ways though and the person who started this process was the player.

I posted yesterday that the correct way to do this would be the player who is under contract to be informed of the transfer request, the player then puts in a transfer request if he wants the move, a fee is then agreed and the player agrees terms. All very amicable if done right.

The only other option that needs looking at in football which would open a can of worms is that does a player have the right to give notice and resign form his place of work?

Apparently the reason most players don't put in the transfer request is because as soon as you do you lose your loyalty bonus. Seems pretty stupid to me, if you're getting a move to a big club n doubled wages then surely you're not reliant on that.

Takes the piss though, we still had to pay Lallana his despite his antics!

It's terrible and driven by agents, yes you lose loyalty bonuses of course you do suck it up and move on if that's what you want.

What a petty minded vindictive attitude - That lad made your club around 40 million quid when he was nowhere near worth that.

I like the idea of a footballer resigning, that would open up a can of worms. They could lose all sorts of money but would it be possible for a footballer to resign?
