I know not ideal, but who else can we play in a narrow midfield with Catts and Mvilla?
    I wouldnt play Johnson.
Rodwells height would be useful aswell.

Bookies are offering 12/1 on Navas to score first, who has 2 goals in 75 games and offering 25/1 on PVA to score first. :emoticon-0112-wonde

That's worth a fiver of anybody's money the form the lad is in.

    Be class as a manager.

Catts you go and boot Augrero up the hoop straight from the kick off. That'll give the Argy cant something to cry about.

Kirchoff you're a big cant. Remember when i sqeezed that geordie cant Gazza knackers. Well you sunshine walk straight up to that Yeye geezer, and squeeze his facking grapefruits till he cries for hia mama.

Rodwell. You stay in the dressing room and polish your facking nails ya facking fairy. Now fack off and get me a cappa Rosie.

    Lets av it lads.

You are with me,bonny lad - City have always been a great side. Off topic a moment - do you know how the Oldham supporters are going with their Bobby Johnstone Fund to raise a statue of the great man? You'd signed Bobby from the 'Famous Five' up at Hibs in 1955 - and he repaid you richly. In '55 and '56, with City, he became the first man ever to score in consecutive FA Cup Finals! In later years at Oldhem, he instantly doubled the gate receipts at Oldham and very probably saved them from extinction. I'd love to think City fans can contribute to that fund.. Mine's already in.

P.S. I'd seen the Hibs 'Famous Five' at Roker in 1954 - Smith, Johnstone, Reilly, Turnbull and Willie Ormond - wow! How could anyone forget? Electric or what!

There's no great way to play you lot given the gulf in class. You've not taken our capabilities in account at all. If we press you high up the pitch(mainly because we don't have the heart, workrate and to do it effectively, you'll see when you see AJ and Lens floating about expecting everyone to work for them) you'll be out of sight by half time. Like I said later on, there's more than one way to press, pressing high and leaving big gaping gap ain't the way for me.

That looks to me like a team that could 'keep it tight' and 'do a job' :emoticon-0105-wink: with decent 'attack' options on the bench . . . . e.g. ***** (our *****), Fab (not sure, like :emoticon-0112-wonde), N'Doye and Ginge to destroy them when we've worn them out :emoticon-0100-smile

If we do set up like that it could be long day. Better than lights out in the first ten minutes though.
