De Niro tried and failed at serious.

Look at Morgan Freeman.

How many fluff pieces has he done... yet when it mattered he got a great one or two in there. As he's aged he's played the old codgers. He did Bruce almighty which defines him for the grass kids and he's done shaw shank for the rest of us.

Maybe De Niro doesn't feel old and doesn't want to play old dullards

De Niro is raging bull... he's not heat but he will be remembered as the guy out of meet the parents.

 

Anyone watch DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
Watched the second ep yesterday.
Is really really good so far.

Yeah not sure what is going on with De Nero.
He since Meet the Fockers and Analyze this, he has just starred in a bunch of ****ty comedies.
I guess he sees that he did his serious acting years ago and is now just interested in doing **** comedies for big money.......

Yeah I cant really blame him. Unlike Pep Guardiola, he has paid his dues.

Watched 'Creed' last night with my son.

Pleasantly surprised. They did a good job of bringing the franchise to the next generation imo.

Watched Human Centipede 2, that is nasty stuff. Not my sort of film, was just interested. That was bad enough, would hate to see what the original Human Centipede 2 that they couldnt release was like

Watched a Yorkshire file called Inbreds which was funny

 

I liked the way they filmed it in Black and White though, added to the awfulness of the film
