Just staying in this level would be an achivment this season. However im pleased that we didnt bought any lazy merceneries from this window.
I see the remainder of the season putting a 'future' team together on a weekly basis. Our standing on the current table won't change too much and everything that JFH does, will be to build towards a decent 2016-2017 season. I'm ok with that, as long as TF doesn't go changing our 'target' again. It's all about stability and future building.
In theory we should have a weakend team but I think we should do ok. When we do eventually push for promotion we will have to add some better quality players than what we have. MIddlesborough have decided to go for it and if they make it, it's perfect timing given the rewards.
As long as it's not relegation (or promotion actually that would be a disaster of a different kind) and we see some progress on the pitch in terms of style of play, youngsters getting game time etc, I don't really mind. If we average a points and a bit per game that's fine.
Circa £100m per club for TV rights in the Prem next year - yes, I would take promotion, even if we were beaten up when we got there. It won't happen which, from the perspective of fans enjoying their football, is just as well. I didn't enjoy our last excursion into the Prem, but I'm a tart for the money, and there's a lot you can do with £100m. On Saturday against Ipswich, I want to see the beginnings of a young and ambitious team that, with decent coaching, can be top six next year
I'm hopeful he's a wiser man, Norway. He's been guilty of being over excited and naive, but I just don't think he's an idiot
I think mid-table, hopefully well clear of any relegation fight. Our promotion push will hopefully be next season with a more settled squad.
Some might call him a champagne socialist. I think we will finish about 5 points above the relegation places on about 57 points and in 17th position.
