I figured that if we found out which boarding school HIAG went to we could identify him. A quick call to ask which of their former pupils went on to study at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard. Princeton, Yale and the Sorbonne would very quickly narrow it down once they'd stopped laughing and asked whether he was still working reception at his dad's law firm.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35459082 West Brom have signed Tottenham midfielder Alex Pritchard on loan until the end of the season. The 22-year-old can go straight into the Baggies squad for Tuesday's Premier League game against Swansea. PART OF A DEAL INVOLVING SOMEONE GOING THE OTHER WAY?
"Ricky Lambert" I reckon Pochettino could get something close to Lamberts' form at Southampton if Spurs are going to take the Europa KO as seriously as the PL.
Those were my thoughts, Gonz, but if it's going to happen, I reckon it won't be until summer. Peace looks determined to not let him go. Why, I've no idea?
... and it might just make us stop to think ... until we see the small print about the 6 annual instalmnets ... then it might be difficult to hold in the giggles
That's what I don't understand. In summer he has only 12 months left on his contract! His value isn't going to rise. So what Peace's game is, I can't work out.
I think his game is along the lines of he considers Berahino a scumbag and he'd rather take the hit than let the ****er get his own way. An expensive but admirable stance.
Berahino tweeted last night it was a 'mistake' to criticise Peace in the last window. please log in to view this image
As I said, I went for the 3rd option in my poll, right from the very start. It's playing out exactly as I said.
Perhaps with the new money coming into the game the power is reverting back to the clubs. Players might have to start accepting that a contract means something! This thread has proven to be extremely embarrassing for the OP.
This thread has been an unmitigated disaster for you HIAG. *You titled it 'Berahino to go on strike' - he didn't *You subtitled it 'What should Spurs pay for him in the Jan window' - they didn't *You foolishly tried to wum claiming I said he'd definitely sign a new contract with WBA - I didn't and you've been bottling providing any quotes to back up your claim for months. *You claimed that nobody had questioned Berahino's attitude prior to the issue with Peace and when I challenged that, you've bottled that too. *Add to that, around 4 or 5 posters have been constantly taking the piss out of you throughout this thread A **** up of HIAGish proportions.
No doubt the increased money in the game has given more leeway to the 'smaller' clubs. But £24mill is an expensive principle to have!
