Man at WoL, him say "Yes" and we're looking at a winger. What does that last bit mean for Noonie though? Or giving Ameobi back to Newcastle?
Tom Lawrence is no better or worse than Matthew Kennedy surely? Cannot complain though with the 3 loan signings City have snared recently.
From what I've seen of Lawrence he is a different type of player to Kennedy who is essentially a winger. Lawrence can play anywhere across the front line and was very good for Wales v. Holland. As I said in a previous post I think he has played well against us in the past - just not this season. We are apparently after a 26 year old winger from abroad - chances 50/50. Macheda and Revell should be on their bikes by close of business tonight.
Tamas gone - why did Slade sign him in the first place? http://insidecardiffcity.co.uk/cardiff-city-defender-departs-to-return-home/
Looks like he's going to be one of those players who swaps teams every year or two. 2013-14 Leroy Fer joins Norwich, Norwich relegated. 2014-15 Leroy Fer joins QPR, QPR relegated. 2016 Leroy Fer joins Swansea ...
Remote - see thread Swansea 'unrecognisable' by 2020, council leader says They are still out there and moving among us!!!
Revell gone on a free so will almost certainly play against us on Saturday. Sod's law he will score - as do most ex-players. I see JET has gone from QPR to MK as well (lets all laugh at the QPR fans who came on here telling us how good he was). So that will be Revell, JET and Maynard lined up against us with a few axes to grind.
JET & Revell just not good enough but I feel a bit sorry for Maynard, injury has been bad company for him without that I think he could have been the 20+ striker we needed in the Championship and I wish him well, other than this weekend.
Totally agree Dai. I was told he was great in and around the club while trying to recover from injury and got involved with as much community stuff as he could. Sounds like an all round good guy.
Declan gone on loan to Chesterfield, initially for a month. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-defender-declan-john-10901353
I like the kid, possibly one of those who will develop under better management and game time. Bet we sell him and he goes on to make it in the premier?
Not sure he's that good BB but he needs game time an will get it at Chesterfield. Their manager, Danny Wilson, had him on loan at Barnsley last year so clearly likes what he sees. The loan can only do him good and have him up to speed should we need him back later in the season. It is tough for him having both Malone and Fabio ahead of him at City. Can't fault his effort, commitment and loyalty to City.
Declan John should have been given more game time as should have Kennedy. Declan John remnds me of Adam Matthews who was poorly treated by Jones.
