Whether it's a meet-up match or not, I'll be at Southampton as I've just booked my flights.

Yep it looks as the saints game is going to win , so the ex pats might be well advised to get their travel arrangements sorted! We need to pick a hotel or B&B to take over <laugh>

For Southampton, the cheapest hotel tends to be the Etap. It's not too bad really, and about a 5/10 minute walk into the town centre! Otherwise you have the Ibis, which is pretty close to it as well, or the Jury's Inn - which is located in the middle of a roundabout, or the Premier Inn which is also pretty central!!

I'd stay away from the Travelodge.... it's horrible!!

No worries... sure hampshire can help as well. Not too hot on the B&Bs in Southampton, although sure there were a few in the Polygon area, which is pretty close to the high street, and some up Hill Lane, which is a little further out!

Last time I went to Southampton, I stayed at the Premier Inn and was looking at that again but hadn't decided.

So with the Palace game, the posh game and the Brum game tied on 6 where does that leave us? Are we still doing two or are we sticking to one game?

I think two, Saints and Posh seem pretty well spaced apart.

I won't stay either... If I go out after, I'll just get a late train back - only half an hour away ;)

Dan - I guess see how this meet up goes, and we can pick one of the others as a 2nd, if we all fancy it!! Bring out the t-shirts again <ok>

Thats what i was thinking, also Posh is our ast away game and there is always a great atmosphere there too which is even better.

That makes sense Kev, i was just thinking that whilst 11 people can get to S'hampton, what about those who cant make that one? I know not everyone will be able to make all games and some wont be able to do two, but it would be nice to offer the chance to everyone.

Yeah definitely... A very good idea to have a '2nd chance' for those who couldn't make it, and another opportunity to meet up for the ones that did!

Sounds reasonable to me ! although posh and late April might make it hard for me to justify going to the end of season do!! For me personally ,jan or feb for the second game would be better!

Well I know for certain I will not be able to get to the Saints game as I will be in France, the Reading game I am on night shift that night. As for the others, my shift roster only currently shows until Sep:(

I must admit, I'm more likely to go to either the Brum or Palase rather than the Posh game... but again, it's what the majority can do!!
