SSN have just said Sanogo is coming to us - but Gnarby isn't. Not sure how I feel. He was a big deal before arsenal - but his career hasn't panned out. Championship may be his level, but not sure a team which struggles to creates chances will be his outlet. Gnarby - hmm. Would have preferred him, but don't think we've missed something incredible. Come on fete - make me looks stupid.
The OS has a clip of his four goals against Benfica. Has to be the least impressive foursome I have ever seen. All tap-ins created by others. He is the most ungainly player I have ever seen. Makes Leaburn and Iwelumo look like Messi. But I think he will be good. Gives us a different option and passes the height test.
http://www.espnfc.com.au/club/arsen...-yaya-sanogo-running-out-of-time-under-wenger Interesting article on the man in question.
If he was 18/19/20 you could possibly understand why Arsenal have kept him. 23 and showing no sign of fufilling his potential - it's no wonder why it's his last chance.
Decent read that - cheers, Oz. I don't know what to expect with sanogo. Arsenal fans seem to think a drop down will see him step up, and hopefully gain the confidence that has been continually knocked from him for 2-3 years now. It's an experiment. Unfortunately we aren't really in a position to carry one out which will fail. Over to you, Yaya.
Interesting comment about Sanogo's "limited technical abilities"- he will be the ideal partner for Makienok.
I gotta admit, when i first saw the pic of that 'map' of his 30 touches, my first thought was he only had the one within the 20 yard box
