We want signings !! We want signings !! We want signings !! And full fat soft drinks !! And full fat soft drinks !! Or diet soft drinks !! Or any form of caffeine !! And a tray of Krispy Kreme !!
That interview after City beat Everton last week was proper cringe him going on about it's good he's got to a final. Could've done that if you'd stayed put you knob head and you wouldn't be back-up / surplus to requirements come August, or maybe you would, #themysterydeepens
I have to say that the most interesting move of the day is Patrick Roberts to celtic on 18 month loan. That's a guy who chose city fir the money going to the most uncompetitive league going not only for this year but all of preseason under pep too. In short..... probably will do nothing now. We will have to see.
I think the fact that it was an event in the past and now its a meh.... who cares seen it all before. It's like celebrity big brother gone bad... probably where he will be next year btw.
It still amazes that despite Klopp telling us some think ayre decides the fee we will pay is 25 mil for a 38 mil player. Maybe Klopp decided he's a 25mil player and shaktar don't agree......
Pretty much this. They want £38m - as much as I think he would Improve the first team, it's too much for the player. We need to start being smarter with our transfers and perhaps we are beginning to. The encouraging thjng is that we're targeting better players. Getting them at the right price is the best challenge.
I would hope it is not looked at like that and is a balance between what is possible transfer kitty wise and who Klopp believes is vital for team progression. So...(made up numbers) If the club say we have 60 million to spend now and in the summer and thats the limit; then it should then be up to Klopp to decide what is necessary. So if he thought that one player was the key then I'd like to think we would pay for them up to the limit of our kitty. We know however that one player only is not what is necessary at the minute...so if that money can be spent on two or three players that are also necessary then it is right to let this one go.....as long as (of course) the players we get are ones we want and not as we suspect has happened in the past buying players on a hope and prayer because we didn't get any primary targets.
Happy with our January window. Didn't want us to spend **** loads on a player that plays in our strongest position. Never mind him not being worth that much. About time we were sensible, I just hope it's Klopp's influence.
Although think it's sensible not to get anyone et. Injuries coming back klopp still assessing players etc... Still miss the excitement of a new player to look forward to!
Or Missi. But it's hard to forgive him agitating for Torres to move back to Spain a few years ago when he was at Liverpool, so I don't think we should forget that when he comes begging.
