Can't agree sorry. Some of the best musicians of all time barely find fame never mind sell records 50 years later while some of the crappest keep selling. And you know why? Because there is more to music than technical excellence. Abba, The Beatles, The Stones, Sammy Davis and many many more are not successful because of excellence, neither are they frauds, their music speaks to people, it brings feeling and emotion out in people, it's about more than perfection, it's about connection. Kobain was not supremely talented, but Nirvana came up with music that made you feel something, Morrison and Hendrix did the same. The real reason Westlife wont be remembered in 50 years time isn't that they are ****, it's because they are bland.
