What the **** am I looking at / reading in here ?! Apart from the native stuff the best Guinness i.e. the **** you get in UK is the export stuff with yellow label, the west indies porter and the golden ale, the original stout is watered down fizzy piss water in comparison to in the republic Been in Starbuks today, got a large hot chocolate with marshmallows, whipped cream, extra syrup and sprinkles, had it with a bottle of water and a low calorie wrap
I never go to Brighton... I don't like Spunkedin Donuts.... Now Krispy Kreme on the other hand is fantastic. I make my own coffee though: French press. Drinking coffee out is expensive. I do consume a lot of caffeine in a given day but I don't get any negative side effects from it that I'm aware of. Coffee is very good for you and drinking it increases life expectancy.
you are not the first yankee who's said krispy kreme is better. i have never seen one though. you don't feel the side effects cos you are now addicted and the only effects you feel are cravings. i drink one cappuccino and ive a headache from caffeine
Agreed, that's why I said Irish Guinness. Had a week with the OU in Dublin a decade ago, and when I tasted it in a pub in O'Connell (?) St - **** me rigid, I tried to drink the whole of Dublin dry of it. No idea why my great grandparents left Wicklow to drink the relative cat piss in England.
Always nice to get in some proper sawdust on the floorboards, plastic table or barrel for table bare bones type places in Dub. Ya wants to get off O'Connell next time, some grand scoops to be had elsewhere in the city and plenty across the other provinces
He did. Ffs, Bisc, I know you're only young- but I thought you'd remember this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...lifting-1-19-Krispy-Kreme-doughnut-Tesco.html
Grocery store KKs arnt as good as fresh out the oven in the stores though. Most Krispy Kreme location has a hot and now sign that lights up when a fresh batch comes out the oven. That's the best time to get them.
Different people react differently to caffeine. Caffeine doesn't have much of a stimulant affect on me. I wake up fine in the morning without it when I'm on holiday. (i don't drink coffee when not home or office because I'm particular about it). I don't get headaches without it (or with too much of it). I have a co-worker who swears he gets headaches if he misses a cup at the right time or has too much. In some people caffeine "symptoms" are psychosomatic. It wakes people up because they condition themselves to it... Or they tell themselves it's supposed to. Test subjects drinking decaf (that they are told is caffinated) experience much the same symptoms as people drinking regular caffeine. They've done similar tests with alcohol where people drinking non alcoholic beverages get "buzzed" if they think it contains alcohol. Sure, caffeine is a stimulant, and sure alcohol can get you drunk but a certain % of the effect of both is all in the head.
The store.... There's a chain of them in us but they are only in certain places so I've only seen dunking donuts store.
What the **** is this shower of utter bollocks? Brands of donuts and coffee in this ****ing gaff? Get a bastard grip the lot of you
