Just taken the new home kit out of the wash, only for it to be bloody peeling already! Urgh, its disgraceful that kits are made so cheaply now, for an even higher price!

Anyone else experienced problems? I know a few did on the last kit. And does anyone know if im entitled to a full refund off?

How long have you had it?

Its a joke. I first bought it the day it came out and the first one I bought, I hadn't realised until I got home, was peeling already, and had 2 holes in the back!! Took it back and got a new one but have a feeling that it won't last long.

Its a ****ing joke, the material is soft but cheap, I worry that if we score at Sunderland, its going to get ripped!

Don't worry. I'm sure it won't be that expensive to fix Sunderland if it gets ripped.

Ive got the receipt still, but I understand if its seen as my own fault, they dont have to replace it. And I can see the crafty feckers at Sports Direct doing that.

Leazes, i totally agree, the material used is so ****ing flimsy. At least Adidas made well made shirts, with style aswell. Fair enough, their 2005 shirt peeled, but the shirt before tha,t the 2003 -2005, still to this day hasnt peeled at all. Even the Northern Rock logo is still stuck on firmly. And that shirt has been worn an awful lot!

I bought one on Saturday but haven't worn it yet. I'll wait until the first game of the season.

I may have to put it into an airtight container and bury it in the garden to keep it pristine until then.

Where's the best site to get retro ones? I had a look on retro shirts or something like that but their range isn't the best. Is Toffs any good?

addidas = black and white stripes on the nogo, newcastle united = black and white stripes.

    puma, white or black puma.

that is why i have hated the puma gear since we took it on, also the strips are utter crap quality wise.

    addidas please next year.

but knowing ashley it will be dunlop!!!

I was going to order mine off Toffs, but I can remember a company thay used to advertise in fourfourtwo so I might search round the net and order one from them. They usually seemed well priced.

Adidas were much better quality. I still wear my purple away top from a few seasons back with Jonas printed on the back and it's good as new. Can't see the new ones holding out.

I've got the TOFFS Fairs Cupp long sleeve top, good quality, 100% cotton and washes well !!

This seasons home shirt looks a little on the long side and the back is terrible unless you put a number on, noticed a few of the lads at Darlo looking like they were wearing nightshirts !!?

I'm reluctant to even buy the new top, think I'm gonna buy our classic 95-96 top instead, probably one of my favourites and the material is spot on! My mate got one in great condition off ebay for about a fiver, even second hand will be better quality than the new ones, I just look at them and think CHEAP.

I'm looking for the 1980s one, or I think it was a 1970s one also. 1980s one had stripes on the sleeves I think with a black collar. The 1970s one has white sleeves with a black collar. TOFFS used to have loads.

I dont understand why the kits are so **** though, I have other Puma stuff like trainers and the odd t-shirt and the quality is good.
