    He was injured. Signalled the bench to pull him off. He went straight down the tunnel.

    +++++++++++++++

    As for the game itself. As straight forward as it goes. A nice day out - a relaxing no pressure game and Akpom finds his scoring touch at last.

    Pass of the season has to be Adama Diomande to David Meyler - slide rule stuff that any of the greats would have been proud of.

    Good strong team selection with wise substitutions at the correct time. Great to be back at a proper football ground where you are made to feel welcome by the locals. The conditions were also like old school. All the seasons in one crazy afternoon of British weather. My phone pictures prove it. Lol.

    Special mention to one of our own ""Josh Tymon"" 16 years of age who played like he had been there all season. Ok, it was only Bury but you
    have to start somewhere and he did us all including himself and family very proud. Well done Josh.

    He is now in Portugal with the England U17's. I bet the weather in the Algarve is better.? :emoticon-0103-cool:

    3-1 Hull City win with ease and I even celebrated the Bury goal. Someone I know won £670 after betting on a 3-1 City win with Akpom scoring the first goal. My was he sweating though at 3-0.!!!!!

    Sadly, it was the only decent thing he did in 68 minutes of football.

    I could live with that (for now at least) if we scored from it.

    Small steps before bigger ones.

    I own plenty of coats, but they don't help me much when I'm getting a face full of hail.
