Maybe they like to food but also have a slight concern about calories. Maybe they are calorie conscious most of the week but have one "bad day" a week, the diet drink would still be sensible (just)
You can decide to have a Maccies and then draw the line at consuming a bucket full of sugar. It's called balance.
If you're really trying to lose weight. Yes. If you prefer the taste of diet. No. If you're only semi concerned about calories then diet drinks are an easy way to cut out calories without really losing flavour. I read once that a coke a day equates to 20lb weight gain in the average person. Simply dropping soda over the course of a year can lower calories by 20lbs (if substituted for water) A pizza meal is 11% fewer calories with a diet drink over a regular. A lot of people could stand losing 11% of weight even if they're not on a diet. ... Although there is evidence that drinking diet actually is worse for your weight because it stimulates your bodies desire for unhealthy foods. By tricking your body into thinking it's getting sugars and not delivering it increases desire. So whereas you get fewer calories from the coke itself... You end up consuming more.
All of you fat bastards need to eat a salad once in a while. Milk, I'm assuming you're clinically obese and need a team of firemen, a crane and several gallons of Vaseline to get yourself out of the house for your weekly visit to the liposuction clinic in Buttfuck, Idaho or wherever it is you eat live.
No, I am not obese. I'm currently about 3lbs outside my "ideal" bmi range (as of last Dr visit)... So technically I'm slightly over weight but I wear the same size clothes when I'm at my target weight and you cant tell 3lbs by looking at someone.
That's Gerrez. I'm just a batard. 64% of people in Britain are overweight or Obese. Odds are I'm one of the healthiest people on the forum.
