I think Pitch Black was a good sci-fi, not the most mentally stimulating thing you'd watch but certainly great entertainment value.

Vin Diesel makes Danny Dyer look like Marlon Brando, he simply can't act and everything he's in is mindless drivel (other than the stuff he does voice overs in, because his inability to act doesn't matter and Saving Private Rayn, where he dies as soon as he appears).

Film 31 was "wild card" typical statham film, not much else to add. Love the ending where he takes on 5-6 and only uses a knife and a spoon..... Ha ha brilliant... That's the first month gone, just 11 more to go,

Just been down the pub for a few pints, gonna watch Donnie Darko. Haven't seen it in years, honestly all I remember about it is Echo and the Bunnymen's The Killing Moon opens it.

    Aye, Echo are great.

That was another film, similar to Nolan's Memento, where I had no idea what happened first time and had to watch it again almost instantly.

Watched 'Now You See Me' with Jesse Eisenburg and Woody Harrelson. Decent cast, decent film. Bit hard to follow if you pop out for a cig or a brew and miss 5 minutes, but was visually pretty decent.

Superb. Christopher Nolan's best film IMO (which as a massive Batman fan, is hard for me to say).

You might be confused first time round. The film is told in both reverse and chronological order at the same time.

Memento is great , I think we covered that earlier ... I've seen Donneh Darkeh three times now and I remember not having a clue the first time -and I saw it last year and right now I can't remember my opinion of it

Because of that I'll push my nob out and say Butterfly Effect is better

I like that type of film where it moves around, forward and back, keeps you on your toes ....

Completely agree with you on Spotlight and Revenant RTR. Very different movies but both brilliant. De Caprio's performance was staggeringly good.

If they haven't called it 'Now you don't' they've missed a massive opportunity.

A big game hunter walked in the bar and bragged to everyone about his hunting skills. The man was undoubtedly a good shot and no-one could dispute that. But then he said that they could blindfold him and he would recognise any animal's skin from its feel and, if he could locate the bullet hole, he would even tell them what calibre the bullet was that killed the animal.

The hunter said that he was willing to prove it if they would put up the drinks, and so the bet was on. They blindfolded him carefully and took him to his first animal skin. After feeling it for a few moments, he announced "Bear."

Then he felt the bullet hole and declared, "Shot with a .308 rifle." He was right.

They brought him another skin, one that someone had in their car trunk. He took a bit longer this time and then said, "Elk, Shot with a 7mm Mag rifle. Of course, he was right again.

Throughout the night, he proved his skills again and again, every time against a round of drinks.

Finally he staggered home, drunk out of his mind, and went to sleep. The next morning he got up and saw in the mirror that he had one hell of a shiner. He said to his wife, "I know I was drunk last night, but not drunk enough to get in a fight and not remember it. Where did I get this black eye?"

His wife angrily replied, "I gave it to you. You got into bed and put your hand down my panties. Then you fiddled around a bit and loudly announced, "Skunk, killed with an axe."

    Tenuous, but I like it ... :emoticon-0136-giggl

Gonna watch Akira tonight. Haven't watched some anime for a while.

Japanese anime is much better than any Disney stuff. By a mile.
